Fixing Rotted Door Jam on 91 Talon

Im looking for some advice on repairing a door jam that has rusted completely through around the door switch on a 91 Talon. There's about a 3-4" hole around in the door jam. Should i try and find a talon to cut the section out and weld it in or just try and weld a new plate in?

I found cutting out the panel from a different car the best solution. Fabricating one would be a challenge unless your very well rehearsed in panel fabrication, there's a lot of curve there around that door switch and jam.
If your welding it yourself be careful for warp-age it takes seconds to get it to hot or burn through.......I did a lot of body panel work on my car the previous winter.

Find a donor car I had some rust just surface though had to clean it up.

ok thanks. The hardest part is gonna be finding a parts car to cut the section out from. All the local junk yards won't allow you use anything to cut with.
