Motor is on it's way today. Our build will be utilizing the Bullet Fire Ring system with the dry deck (no coolant) passing through the head gasket, but instead have coolant go through the block via the access holes on the side of the water jackets. Just makes the block more reliable at high horsepower.

Just a small update, X Shift Gearboxes is wrapping up the production of our new sequential gearbox!

They also showing the different input shaft options. We are using a larger custom Input shaft which will require custom clutch disks but TMZ Performance is already putting in work solving those small issues and has a set of clutch disk options to pick from. This will bump the torque rating of the gearbox from 1200NM to 1400NM!!!

I also love the weight considerations they took on the barrel, milling holes to reduce weight. This helps the transmission do super fast 20-40ms flat shifts with an electronic paddle system. That ain't much slower than the response time of your typical TV or LCD screen.

The 6 speed sequential transmission from X Shift has arrived!

The next steps for assembly involves mounting a stock Evolution clutch housing and center differential. Once that is complete we can start installing the new power train into our DSM!

Not much to update on the car build. After acquiring all the parts for the build, I found I needed more space for the chassis build, tools, and goals in general for the project, so I purchased a few acres of land to build a shop on. Finished the design and had our loan approved for the build, but was then laid off from the day job. Waiting for that to work itself out, finish the garage build, and get back to building this thing.

Thanks for bumping the post; I still have every ounce of energy and excitement for this to all come together.

I talked to X shift and they said they dont do earlier than evo 4 platform for sequentuals

Wonder how they were able to do your car. Indont see pics to see if u went evo 4-9 moror or not

Would you believe if I told you just Friday, 4 days ago, I got back my first revision request from the county planning office?

I never recovered financially and switched careers so the build design, engineering, permitting ECT has all been owner builder. So things have been slowly, but ever surely steadily moving forward.

I still don't have an ETA for the completion, and live vicariously through Paul and Garrett now. Ha!

Right now I am working as a business advisor, buying and selling businesses for investors. I galivant as a real estate agent with the same license for friends, but looking to probably acquire a business of my own here eventually. It's tough selling businesses and watching other people make new DSM race car money every month while I am over here too cheap to buy replacement 10mm sockets I've lost.

I know the feeling. We've been living modestly for a while now, and it's only going to get tighter with my oldest going off to college. I really need to focus on either a new business or getting a higher paying job. As much as I love giving my all to my family, it would be nice to have a little money for some hobbies.

Still have yet to receive my building permit, ran into issues with environmental health department. I am going through another round of revisions now. Everyone told me building a new property up would take more money and time than you think. Unless you are a millionaire, they were all correct. It's almost as bad as owning a race car!

I still dream of putting everything this car has together someday; it's all still here and waiting. I appreciate the love!
