Let me start off by saying I'm not necessarily looking for a BIGGER throttle body, I just mainly want cruise control. I'm running a link g4+ ECU, already have an Evo pedal and my adapter is on the way..Im comfortable with doing the wiring.

I have a Magnus SMIM with the stock 63mm 1g throttle body. I'm not sure if there is a "bolt on" DBW throttle body available. I saw a post mentioning a Focus RS TB?

I tried to get the "bolt pattern" for the stock TB and very roughly measured ~65mm between each bolt hole left to right, top to bottom. And 90mm diagonally to the middle of each bolt hole.

Bosch has a 68mm DBW TB which I bought but the bolt pattern is still different despite being advertised as a 65 x 65 mm pattern. I drilled out the holes out slightly to see if that would help with alignment. But I don't want to go too far.

Is there a bolt on DBW TB? How do you measure a TB "bolt pattern"?

The Magnus manifold without the Dsm adapter has a Mustang 5.0 throttle body pattern on it, so anything that would bolt up to a Mustang 5.0 should work, so I would look towards Ford stuff.

Or maybe just buy a flange for the DBW like the ones in the link below and weld or make your current intake manifold bolt pattern on the flange to make an adapter would work?

Thats an option. I was hoping to find a "bolt on solution"

Evo X TB should be a bolt on? My buddy has an X pedal and TB on his 2g with a link ecu.

Hello guys,
I would like to share that I'm already running a DBW setup on my 1g here in Brazil

I'm using a throttle body from a Lancer Sportback Ralliart (manufactured by Mikuni - part number 60026)
It fits plug'n'play on the 1g intake manifold and has the same ID (60 mm) and the same mounting holes.

for pedal I'm using one from a regular Lancer (last gen) which is the same from EvoX, Ralliart, and all other regular ones NA/FWD.
For mounting this pedal I was inspired on (copied) the Evospec bracket for 1g (https://evospecperformance.com/product/dsm-1g-dbw-drive-by-wire-evo-x-accelerator-pedal-bracket/)

For controlling this pair I'm using a FuelTech FT550 + Wideband Nano PRO .. with a complete new custom engine harness
Both pedal and TB are already registered on the FuelTech system.
This allowed a lot of cool things, like automatic Punta-taco, 2step, anti-lag, multiple tunning maps, PWM for cooling fan, water spray on intercooler, boost control and a lot of sensors...

I hope to update my build thread soon to share everything.. Until there you guys can take a look on the Instagram profile @eclipse.awd

below you can see some TB pics

What on earth is automatic Punta-Taco !?
Maybe it was a miss translation, sorry.. my bad..
I believe in English you call it of “Throttle Blip” or “Heel and Toe"
There are switches on the brake and clutch pedals
Once you press first the brake and then the clutch pedal, the ECU gives a blip on the throttle in order to help down shift engaging at high revs..

Ahh auto rev match is kind of what we call it.
Makes sense!
