I don't know if it's officially supported yet since I haven't seen any direct reference to it, but can we get the stock boost gauge to show timing or other parameters yet?

I have it setup as a Knock Gauge.

You can change the Boost Gauge Table and Modifier, to what you want for different gauges but its not that user friendly.

The problem with the Boost Gauge is it moves very slow, so it can't display things that change quickly.

Ya, I was wondering if that slow moving gauge was something we'd be stuck with. I would have liked to use it to show timing. How could I get it to show knock?

All CeddyMods since around 1.7 have the Knock Gauge, each division is 5 counts.

I'm in need of a newer version of my SD ROM
I have like 1.94 or older
I'm also available for testing

On 1G's the boost gauge moves extremely slow off the bottom, but if you have it so the lowest value is up a bit higher, it moves really fast. Have you checked to see if this is the case with a 2G?

My boost gauge does whatever it feels like at the time -- sometimes it sits at the bottom, sometimes the middle, but it rarely actually works.

Yeah it starts very slow. I have the first notch as zero, to compensate this. But its still slow.

With version 1.99, the needle should bounce from top to bottom, with key in ACC position. With car running it should move to first notch and act as a knock gauge.

Yours doesn't do this?

New Features Suggestions

Anyone have suggestions for new features?

I have started on CeddyMods 2.00

Software CAS fix would be so sweet for all the people who have 95/96 cars and cannot use Ceddy mods in a plug and play style :coy:

Other than that, maybe there is something fancy that can be done with fan control, like air temperature related fan control, or maybe way to turn both fans on if IAT is starting to climb.

I don't know how those high HP monsters handle the heat, but after 15 minutes of driving the UICP and aluminum intake pipes get so hot in my car, that I can't even touch them. I can't test if lowering the fan startup temperature improves anything, as I can't use the ECU for now, but maybe two fans would solve the heat soaking issues while you're waiting in a line or stuck in a jam.

You can switch the CAS trigger from leading to falling edge of wave form. And completely reverse Crank logic(0=1, 1=0).

I think with just those hacks we could get the Inverted CAS working. But I need someone local to me with a Inverted CAS setup that I could test all the different combinations on.

Fan Control has been added to 1.98+. I've found having a lower starting temp greatly reduces heat, and I only have a single fan setup.

My boost gauge is still a boost gauge and I'm on your newest release.

Well, I'm in Europe... What kind of information is required for debugging? Can I gather/log it somehow?

Is it possible to simulate the 95/96 CAS behavior by doing 1G CAS 180* off, I heard some people had problems with 1G CAS plates put backwards or something, maybe it has similar behavior as 2Ga CAS that way?

I'll upload version 1.99 to my site later tonight.

Should behave like this:
Needle bounces with car not running,
At first notch(0 knock), with car running.

I could send fixes for you to test. If you are willing.

Anyone know how to adjust the TPS for calibration in ecuflash? I have no isc and i cant adjust the tps any further but evoscan still says i have 1.14% open. Anyway i can make 1.14, 0 percent like you can on dsmlink.

Change the formula, TPS on DSMs/Mitsus is never 0% when closed.

By the way, is the TPS even used much in the code?

The TPS should read 10-15% closed.

And ~90% fully open.

My TPS is @10 off and 11@idle and mine was set by voltage.

My palm datalogger stated 10% also at the correct voltage checked at the sensor itself. I had a friend with a new race automatic that was stuck in safe/limp mode cause the shop set the TPS to 0 inside of the correct voltage.

IPT was very angry to find out they didn't mess up the tranny build and they where very interested in the fact it was messed up. They are great guys if you ask me. They covered the whole cost of pulling the tranny even tho it was shop error by another shop.

What is the situation with rear O2 right now? If you just remove it and also remove the pin 75 & 54 (http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-tuning-ecu/281763-2g-turbo-ecu-pinout-w-wire-colors.html) will the ECU throw the codes or is it possible to bypass them? Can you disable O2 heater circuits with no codes?

All the Rear O2 CELs can be disabled in the Periphery Bits.
(Only Evos have Heater CEL problem.)

I just unplugged mine under the drivers side carpet.
Just make sure the wires don't short out and you'll be fine.

I don't want to bring specific tuning questions into here, but I'm having a hard time running more than 10-12 degrees of timing anywhere without getting any knock. I'm going to make a post in the log section and post my log and tune.

Rich or lean knock. Whats your AFR when you knock.

Your timing is all over the place. Also, is your load above what the 2g maf can handle it looks like?
