The power seem to stuck at 7500rpm... I think the head flow is max at that rpm.
Will try changing to a new ported head or other cam. Any suggestion?

Looking at fp3 cam, it consume more airflow at lower rpm and design for higher piston speed (more rpm?). FYI i'm using std stroke and bore. Any comment?
 
Just finish fabricate the traction bar.
Weight of the car is at 916kg without driver with a weight distribution of 72% at the front and 28% at the rear. This should help the traction:D

Change to fp3 and maxing the injector at 704.5whp.

Anyone has any experience using magnus 2200cc methanol injector?
 
I saw the dyno graph that thing is asleep till like 6k though :(


This is on stock displacement or maybe my tune is off.
The car only for drag purposes so it only spent most of it life at 6k and above;)
 
It on standard crank with scat rod and wiseco piston.

Update: Change back to BC280 since the car encounter valve float at 8500 rpm with fp3. Back on the dyno using race gas with the same injector. Only used around 70% of the duty cycle at 40psi of boost and netted 806whp and 546 lbft.

WTF 2,000 pounds? That's ridiculous! Good luck sticking to the ground. What is your 1/4 time goal for this car?

I don't understand why you would net a greater hp with less airflow and less fuel :hmm: Care to explain?
 
Before this i'm using E85 which require 30% more fuel then race gas that netted me the 806whp.
Why you're saying that i'm flowing less airflow?
 
The fp3 is aggressive in term of opening and closing the valve but the BC280 is more on lift. It no doubt the fp3 giving more power than BC280 with the same tune, with some degreeing and tuning the BC280 will perform almost like FP3. This is on 2 liter engine.
 
The car broke the right front axles during the first track outing. The driver cannot push very hard during the launch since it still on stock axles.

The second time at the track only net 11.550 with 225.98kmh roughly around 140mph.
It not really a drag strip, just the Sepang F1 circuit being used as local drag event. The car spinning the 26" MT on every gear. Need to solve the traction problem this coming event on the 18th.July.

Oh wow, that was really close... did you actually win? Sorry I didn't see the video before.... and like everyone else has said, awesome build. I'm always happy to see someone go out on a limb to do something extravagant with their car and I don't mean lambo doors and candy paints LOL.
