BW374 vs BB GT4202 .. is the price difference reasonable?

Yup pretty much what he said LOL. This is teh reason I haven't just picked up any old stuff for my build everything has time and thought put into it plus wayyyyyyyy to much research to be doing for something as simple as even IC piping size LOL. I will be curious what this turbo does with a person with your tuning capabilities. I don't think I could ever go that big only because I can't see it being streetable in my eyes.

It will still get some street driving, but it is not my daily driver anymore. It will still drive the 140-miles each way to the dyno, as well as travelling the 50-miles each way to the track for race days. It will still go to work once in a while when it is nice out, but how regularly do you run gas that comes in 54-gallon drums at $620 each? This is just my price for VP Q16. If I was running VP Import, it is around $1100+ for 54 gallons as it is usually $10 MORE PER GALLON than Q16.

There has to be a limit. I will do a pump gas tune, or a 111-octane tune so it is more streetable, but when you have a setup that can do 50+psi, WHY would you want to only run 20-25psi? That is just boring....ROFL Kidding!

I acually ordered my 3.5" v-band kit, acouple reducer silicone couplers, and t bolt clamps from them. They have some DEALS!:hellyeah:

Yeah, I found them after a few hours of searching and price matching. Their prices were the best overall I could find; especially for larger diameter tubing, clamps, and V-Band setups.

Yeah why ONLY run with 600whp when you can run at 900whp LOL ROFL

Well, if I pull up on a twin-turbo Viper (my buddy Jim has a ~1500whp twin 78mm turbo 510 stroker setup that runs 9.0's @ 165), or a Kawasaki ZX-14 (they run 9.0-9.3's with a professional rider in near stock form), I might need more than pump gas....

If it is just a Lambo or a Ferrari, then the pump gas will do just fine. ROFL ROFL

Yeah, 600AWHP is PLENTY for street use.

More than likely, I won't run into either of the two FAST vehicles at the track though, they are just too rare to find.

I found out that the Walker Heavy Duty 5.5" to 5" rubber reducer hump hose is discontinued.

The other brand I found is made by Donaldson (Donaldson Filtration Solutions), and is the same part. (in the Engine Air Cleaners and Accessories catalog; PAGE #101)

The part number is #P103516. I will find out pricing and availability today.

Tim, are you going to use the front motor mount??? Cause, if so, I don't think you would be able to fit this turbo on down facing mani, unless you reverse the turbo and have to make/it is custom anyways/ DP. Plus, even if you are running a Honda sized radiator, it will still may not FIT with this GIANT. Friend of mine runs this exact turbo on his racecar and it is tight fir, even there. He uses a forward facing oil filter and this thing/ the filter to be exact it hits the lower IC pipe. You may need to relocate the oil filter completely and get a external oil-cooler. If you want to do that, I have a Perma-Cool oil filter relocation kit and oil filter bracket part #'s/ because i bought them for my car/, just let me know if you need these. Here is the link for the car I am talking about. Sorry, is only a few photos of the motor. If you need more, I may be able to find somehting.

Can you give me a different link? Yours only brings me to the main page. Otherwise, give me the guy's name and I will look it up.

And yes, I will be running a front motor mount. Like I said, it will take custom work, and I appreciate any information you can get!

Notice the radiator in place and if you have the comp. cover there, almost not possible. And BTW, he doesn't have a front motor mount.

I picked up the 5.5" to 5" reducer today; Fuel Systems, Inc (in Wauwatosa, WI) had it in stock, and was $19.00 or so. Fits great, and looks great! It will defintely do the job, and is a quality part!

Again, it is a Donaldson part number (P103516); and it will fit the 5.5" compressor cover so you can run a 5" intake pipe.
