boost lag. HELP!!!!

i recently installed a bigger intercooler and i noticed a hugh lag time. dont feel the boost until between 3500-3700 rev. any way to solve this problem?

Do a boost leak test if you haven't. It is a good idea to check regularly and anytime you mess with the intercooler piping. It could also be your t25 taking extra time to fill up the extra volume, although it's hard to believe it would make that big of a difference. Most likely a boost leak. But seeing boost at 3500-3700 is normal, expecially if you have a little larger turbo than stock.

i assume the reason you put in a fmic is because you have a bigger turbo which creates more turbo lag.

I have the same issue with my big 16g (no boost till 3200ish RPM), except i've yet to install a FMIC

Also, use soapy water so you can hear AND see the boost leak.
