so yesterday I bought a 99GST pretty much stock but the previous owner put in an aftermarket Upper Intercooler Pipe and B.O.V.

So the issue is when I push the pedal to the floor and it starts boosting around 3-4k RPMs it almost bogs down for a second then keeps going but struggling. When I go easy on it it drives fine.

Could it be a vaccum line? or is it somthing to do with the piping and B.O.V?

Let me know if any of you have experienced somthing like this?

Btw...I am new to turbo I used to have a GSR LOL

I took a look into your profile and it says you have a Greddy BOV, I'm assuming it's vented, so you'll need to plumb it back into the intake or run something like a MAF/MAFT setup, second thing to do is a boost leak test.

Your car will probably run like crap, stall out when you are venting the blow off valves with the stock MAF and as for the car bogging, in this scenario, it's probably dumping too much fuel to the motor.

Do all maintenance before you start modding and get a boost leak test done. Follow the upgrade path and use the search button before making a post as odds are it has already been asked in some form or another.

Keep the boost below 15psi as well...
