boost lag?

Im not sure if it is or not because im looking at the stock boost guage and when i gas it pritty good the guage will start going up but swag a little bit im not sure if thats boost lag or the guage just being dumb. all stock

Both. The stock boost gauge is driven by the ECU (it interpolates the value to send) so it is not a real boost gauge. It's pretty accurate for unmodified engines but there is going to be lag on the reading as well as real turbo lag.

buy a cheap aftermaket gauge off ebay or at a local auto shparts shop, you can get a cheap one for like $30 and it will only take 10 minutes to install and it will tell you what you need to know since the stock gauge is also based on your "ass dyno" (if it goes up to the + fast and feels fast to you in your seat...your boost is probably alright for your completely stock setup)
