ok I have already ordered some parts and still making some choices, let me know what you think. Tell me if I should change somethings around or just tell me what you think about what im using.

http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/blogs/dwr-dsm/888-2010-gsx-build.html

I already have these parts - Koyo rad, mish hoses, flex a lite dual fans, bulleye 3" intake, 2g maf, k&n filter kit, eibach lowering springs, vrs intercooler kit, hks ssqv bov, aem fuel rail, aeromotive fpr kit, 255 walbro, sparktech C.O.P., megan downpipe, megan exhaust, greddy turbo timer with harness, aem ugo, aem boost gauge, greddy spec boost controller.

Parts still to order and get done, 2.3L 6bolt, 1g head ported n polished 272/272 cams, precision 5557 to4e undivided/.63 a/r./ internal hd wg. hafe manifold, sbr o2 housing, jmf heatshield, 1g TB port n rebuilt 65mm, jmf race intake, shep stage 3 tranny, south bend ss pressure plate, south bend TZ-Series Clutch Disk, oem tob, ss clutch line, poly MM, FIC 850cc, and dsmlink light.

The stock ignition system with good wires and plugs is good for up to or over 600hp. If you want the looks of the COP than go for it, but the money could be used for other parts.

Jackle + Ostrich is actually another GREAT option for 1g owners. You actually have a little more tuning capabilities with the setup over ECMLink. You still need a logger however IIRC.

I dont see what more it can do. ECMlink has full direct access to the ecu along with SD and full data logging capabilities. Anyways to the OP ecmlink lite will work out perfect for your goal.

I would look into maybe some meth injection to make the HP goal easier.

Also look in Jack Transmissions. He is a good friend of mine and does awesome work. Plus you get more for your money.

Havnt made a choice on who will do my transmission and I'm sticking with Dsmlite no meth. I really like the look of the COP so I'm keeping it. I guess me setup is fine since I only hear ppl throwing the COP in da gutter!

COP is a huge waste of money.

are you not going to be using meth? it would be recommended that you do, so you dont get knock with your tune. and it will also be much easier to achieve your #'s

and why are you wasting the money on a transmission?? IMO its not worth it at all for a goal of 400hp.

Chances are, you are going to want meth injection (if you are dead set against some E85) to prevent knock on the 2.3l...depending on the CR you go with and amount of boost you plan on running, and how good your local pump gas is.

Add my name to the list of people against the COP. Complete waste of money (along with the turbo timer) and probably more trouble than it's worth...but it sounds like you aren't interested in hearing those opinions. :)

And... a solid tranny is always a good investment.

Wouldnt a built trans be more reliable with better shifting?

Absolutely. If money isn't a big issue (and it sounds like it isn't), do it right the first time and you won't have to worry about the trans when you go to the next power level. And stock tranny's are pushing the envelope above 350 hp, IMHO.

If money is an issue... sell the COP and use that and the turbo timer money towards a solid trans :D

BTW - I forgot to mention this... If you are getting something like ECMLink, skip the 850's and get something like 1150's or 1250's. More room to grow with. Something like the FIC Bluemax 1250's would be a nice choice.

Yea 1150s and higher would give me alot of growing room. Knowing how I love power it would only be a tune away and more money on drivetrain parts so I dont know if I wanna go higher than 850s, the smaller injectors kind of controls my expensive habits in a sense LOL.

How do ya feel about a ACT streetlite flywheel? I was debating using a flywheel but its a stroker so idk. Somebody with some experience let me know, thanks
