Yes it is. But its a spherical inside of that also, most of my suspension is spherical/aluminum reducers

How big is the rotor, what’s the diameter,

Any info on the brake set up

It looks stunning, I like the two pease rotor style and the design makes it look even more aggressive.

Rotor is now 360mm in the same 32mm thickness.

So this is the motorsport version caliper named RX, so it has deeper pistons at 30mm, seal less pistons. I also opted to have AKB springs put in for the pistons as an optional extra.

These rotors are lighter then my other 2 piece rotors for the evo brembos i had on previously, but these are full floating this time. They get made in the same factory that AP racing get their rotors from.

After a long period down due to doing some maintenance and some exciting upgrades i got all the car back together and fired it up the other day, straight away i heard a nasty noise and shut it off but i knew what it was as i had heard it about 1 year ago and left it alone. My powersteering pump bearing had finally given in! Weird thing was when i pulled it away last it was rather quiet like it was not bad bad but i knew it had made noises so i planned for it.

So luckily i had one i rebuilt and resealed and new bearing installed some years back (2 i think) and it just sat in my toolbox since as i never got around to putting it in, so now i was forced to do it. Very quiet and works nicely.

Along with the bits i regreased i installed my new brakes in the front and they are amazing! Now i need to installed my dual masters and bias adjuster because the rears lock up much easier now due to the higher pressures they seem to be seeing.

The bias stuff and also going SD is my next plan of attack to do in the next few months or sooner!

Are your new standoffs going to limit the articulation of the lower shock mount? I'm not exactly sure how much they move around.

No as the shock pivots when in motion. (Spherical upper mounts)

Ahh, good to know. So I can put the solid bushing in the lower control arm without worry.

For some reason I assumed the shock moved will in motion at both the upper and lower mounting points.

Who remembers when i prepped my hood for a mold? Well i have the new one with me now (actuslly had it in november) but only today i got to work on it and started to get it on the car. I have ordered another set of catches and can finish it off next week.

Its so light as its single skinned, 3 layers fiberglass, 1 layer kevlar and 1 layer carbon. Can hold it up with 2 fingers which is nice compared to the oem hood!

Not much else to say on this currently as im still working on it and shortly after its done i will paint it.

I wanted to mount the rear aero catches by the fire wall area but could not find a suitable area that was equal from left to right without relocating stuff and that was not the plan so i came up with a solution that means its exactly the same for both sides, i made a template at work first to confirm it was ok and fitment worked then made 2 from steel for safety and strength.
Using the strut tower ment both sides would be the same and i can easily remove the brackets and install them again without and issues. I had the room so i took it! Worked out well i think

Wow nice hood. Are you opening the hood from the back side instead the front?

This makes me remind the corvettes with the tilt hood.

    Any insights of the process.

Yeah so it acts as a vent and pulls heat out instead of a scoop to collect air. A few other use this vent and it works really well.

As for the process? You mean me putting the latches on or the making of the hood? As i dont have any on the hood

Nooice! Now that's full race setup.

@miguelmcv if you look closely at the second to last photo you can see where he has 2 small cuts for a 2nd pair of aerocatch latches, at the front of the hood close to the nose of the bumper.

You're getting rid of the hood hinges right Bobby?

I was curious on how you mount the latches in front to see where you bolt it on or how you did it.

Arh i think i miss read the original question! Damn me and fast reading dont go well LOL.

So im keeping the front catches like my oem hood has so yes it will be 4 total and the whole thing is lifting off and no hinges at all. Less weight all around yay.

I read your comment wrong and fast so my fault sorry, im having 4 catches so the hood will not use a pivot hinge and the whole hood will lift off instead when i need to work on the car
