Yeah it's a bit cold all over. I heard Texas was in the 20s.Kansas was +6* this morning....whoo hoo.....I'm not getting out or going anywhere!

Honestly I agreeThe Frontline Fab one is better.
but they declined to open up the brother port to -12orb and who knows what the lead time is. And it was more expensive. You got any pictures of the baffling inside yours? I'm curious about the difference
That's funny you mention this because if you look at mine... It looks like it does the same freaking thing. The fitting sits right where the ledge is for the baffle... I'm gonna have to figure out a way to cut those fittings shorter.also there’s the issue I’ve y
I think you can safely cut them as long as you debur them. Easy job for a file or cutting disk. IMO the threads are so course that there's tons of room between them to make em nice again. I'll have to take a lookIn Brandon’s build thread,(Kratosv2) he mentioned shaving them down, I was wondering if there’s possibly a shorter fitting maybe? Otherwise my fear of cutting them is ruining the threads

So it definitely can be done. I wouldn't recommend it mainly because the burrs on the threads if you nick some other threads can mess up the threads in the valve cover. But here's mine.I may give that a try, depending on how your attempt turns out

Id recommend nor cutting it flush with the underside of the valve cover either. Try to keep like half a thread or just a small lip sticking out so compressed oil vapor that turns to liquid doesn't funnel into the fittings when you start building pressure. I think I cut off just over 2 full threads off the end of mine.Looks good! We have a band saw at work, I might go that route
Indeed 65-70psi! L19s torqued to 110 ft lbs. I still use this same combo on my GVR4 nowThat’s impressive, headstuds look like L19’s?I think that SCE gasket won’t disappoint, I’ve only seen 39 psi on my baby 6266 but no issues, @mikEclipse99 ran like 60 psi on a 6870 on one with no complaints
65-70psi on a 6266? That's actually insane.Indeed 65-70psi! L19s torqued to 110 ft lbs. I still use this same combo on my GVR4 now
god no65-70psi on a 6266? That's actually insane.
Glas to hear that gasket works well too.
! on a 6870Ah still insane though!god no! on a 6870

It would probably make it... Once6266 would eat itself at that boost
