What Turbo is this? [Merged] Turbo ID Identification

Well the numbers you gave us are for the o2 housing... It really doesn't tell me much about the turbo.. It defidently has a mhi hotside but the cold side doesn't ring a bell with me for being a MHI cold side..

the wastegate actuator is off a turbo buick ... Still doesn't tell me much.. Is there any numbers or marking on the CHRA?

Im pretty darn sure its a bullseye turbo. But as far as the trim not a clue...maybe a 50 trim.

Every compressor housing I've ever seen with the big arrow was a bullseye turbo. 99% that's what this is. Not sure about the wastegate though. You should email or call the guys at bullseye power to get stats on it to be sure though, I've dealt with them a few times before (I'm about an hour from their shop) and they're a great group of guys, and are more than happy to just answer your questions on the phone.

measure the inducer and exducers on both hot and cold sides, That will tell you a lot more!

i bought this turbo off this kidd and he said it was a 16g evo3 well im not sure i believe it but i really donr know what turbo it is. its not a t25 and its no a 14b, the cold side does look a like bigger then my t25 and the wastegate is bigger.

Yep, I'm 99% sure that is a 14G.

thats not a 16g that looks like it came off a dodge shadow or crysler labaron or maybe a shelby shadow not to shure. but that is not a evo 16g i would get ## money back and give the kid a beating of a life time for being dumb and a prick.

only paid $40 for it and a some intercooler. well what do you guys think. im pretty sure my t25's oil seals are bad. would it be worth it to rebuild this turbo and then put it on my car? its bigger and has a bigger wastegate.

If I'm reading the numbers correctly it comes up as TDO5 12A/8 turbo came on the 1985 Starion's - Def. not a 16g by appearance either.

If you go out to buy a specific turbo, you should know what you are looking for before you pay for it.

no hes this kid i know he sold me the intercooler for $20 and he was like for an extra $20 you can have the turbo too and i said sure why not its bigger then my turbo and i would have an extra one but now that my car is blowing smoke it might need to go on for a little bit.

The 14G compressor wheel flows about the same as the 14B compressor wheel.
The 14G is a bit more efficient though.
