2G What goes in this hole?

While doing a boost leak test I noticed that all the air is blowing our of a little hole under the intake side of the turbo. If I plug the hole with my finger pressure builds, let it go, it all comes out.

Turbo is a tdo6 20g

I can't even understand what I'm looking at. Could it be where the little nipple is screwed in that's a vacuum source for the boost/wastegate solenoid? Some Aftermarket turbos have that as a separate thing that is screwed in.

looks like the boost source nipple intended for wg is missing- think its supposed to be pressed in tight fit kinda like the oem valve cover nipple for crank case ventilation

Maybe, I have an external selenoid and wastegate so they are not hooked to this.

It sounds like this hole is for wastegate vacuum, since I am not using it can I just JB Weld it shut?
Will JB weld handle the high pressure?
Are there nipples I can by the plug it with?

Right, guessed as much. There may actually be an existing thread inside that hole. Can you try to thread in a small bolt and see if it will go in nicely? Otherwise you can risk tapping it and plugging it with a bolt + some thread lock used for compressed air fittings (it's like an epoxy sort of). Or you can get this type of thing, screw it in, and plug it with simple vacuum hose. Just some ideas.

Nope My t28 has 3 too and it's solid it doesn't go straight through

Lead shot out of a shotgun shell will seal it up! Not sure what size load but that's what the old mechanic I worked for in the 70's used. He used it to plug air bleeds and then drill them to what HE wanted it to be on carbs. Old School is showin......

Looks like the boost nipple that was originally cast into the housing was removed. I would remove the housing, then drill out and thread the hole to 1/8" NPT. Then, put a 1/8" NPT plug in there with a little Teflon paste on it. It definitely will not leak then.

The factory nipple is a press-fit, it's not threaded into the housing. If it's missing, it already fell out or blew out...you'll just have to find a short bolt close in size and crank it in there if you can't fit a tap to cut threads into the hole with the turbo installed. Something in the 5mm-6mm range should work.
