420A 2GNT What this connector goes to?

Hi guys
This my first time working on dsm cars and I just wanted to know what this connector goes to if anyone goes. I been struggling ever since I did a transmission swap on it. Its a 1999 eclipse gs 420a. Thanks

Iv never worked on a 420a, but looks like either a temp sensor, or oil pressure sensor.

It isn't either of those. They are on a separate harness.

You should see this part mounted to the front of the block. That's where it connects.

If yours is missing, you can buy one from Ebay. Normally people don't know the technical name so here's a link to get one. You'd never find it searching for the proper terminology.

It's a 0.5 uF (micro-farad) capacitor (aka condenser) for radio ignition noise suppression. Standard on all engines.
