I ordered some -16an weld on fittings for my new radiator, well they came with this silly step in them, second time I've seen this. Chucked them up in the lathe and got rid of that nonsense.

Installed my head studs and head gasket, just gotta torque the head down and finish up some small things on the motor. It’s been hard to get outside with how cold it’s been up north LOL

Had the dsm in its natural habit on harbor freight jackstands. When I did the control arm poly bushings I mangled the ball joint boots so battled in some fresh trw ball joints and sway bar links from rock auto. It would have been a lot easier with a hydraulic press but I was able to get it done by hand. I’m pretty sure I’ve spent more on maintenance than I have on mods on this car.

I DROVE my car today. Its been sitting, "pickled" with GAS, for 3 or 4 months. I set its stoich to 14.7 and did a random # global and deadtime, fiddled with DT for just a bit then went for a pleasure cruise. Did it run "great"? NO. Did I smile, while making turbo and BOV noises, HELL YEAH and I still had people in our park taking video as I slowly rolled by. It was very nice to hear her and just drive her again until I go back on E85, which is soon. :thumb:
I also had a friend drop by and give me another model DSM for the collection for my birthday. It was the only one I didn't have, the Tennessee Blue GSX! :D

Started mounting up my electric water pump. Luckily I was able to reuse my AN lines I made 2 years ago as there's almost $150 in fittings alone.

My favourite street car

Are you going to pick the trans up from the top, to install it? If so, attach your lift to the circular boss on top. It almost balances perfect or did for me. Nice progress!

I don't do them any other way anymore. One point lift. Ground to mounted in 10 min.

Installed some godspeed adjustable upper control arms for my lowered spyder. Wore a new set of tires on the inside from the camber from lowering it. But this should help out drastically.

I got a deal on these two so I guess I’ll need to buy the other two after fitment. 235/60r15 M&H muscle car drags. My first set of big boy tires. (Added mounted pic)

Quick little project today, made a turbo speed sensor block off plate.

Turned this down on the lathe and added an o-ring groove.

Guys, in last days i seen many post with your upgrades of builds, im proud to be memeber of that tuning community !!!

i need to add something too !

finally finished rear part of the car and put chassis to its own wheels…

everything is in polyurethane, i adapted galant rear lower control arms, put back rear strut brace

and i let my friend to print rear abs sensor cover instead of missing metal ones.

Car drives, i tested it few hours, everyrhing looks okay, it needs to do the geometry, one little leak from no oil pressure icon sensor…

also 16g pushed just 0,2bar, i figured out internal wastegate were stick open, something inside did the obstacle to hold it closed.

Out of hibernation...

Was retorquing all the suspension pieces that i took apart last year on Friday since i was off work and it was 70 degrees. Took the car to the school down the street today, where its one big oval "track", just to make sure everything was okay. Couldnt have asked for a better drive. Took it on the street a little bit and it still performed great. Quiet...No odd suspension noises and no idle fluctuations.

A few things i did noticed tho.
1.Coolant gauge didnt seem to work at all.
2.No matter what I do, i cant get this lower radiator hose to not leak at the block. Its not a bad leak, but enough. It leaked all winter with the flucuation from cold to colder temperatures. Ive replaced the hose with a stock rubber one and new constant tension spring clamps. Used some nondrying thermostat sealant the last time. Still leaks. I think i may have dented the spout a little bit by previously using one of those constant tension clamp that you tighten and fluid is slilghtly slipping by the new clamps. Frustrating because ive drained coolant and taken this hose off 3 times now. Otherwise this car is good to go for the season. 🤞

RTV that hose. Let it sit for a day with it clamped. Refill.
