What did you do to your DSM today?

Got a stock rear bumper at pick and pull today.
I had got a AITracing zen style rear bumper for it, but after looking at me stock 98 gs, I decided to go with the stock look. If anyone is close to me I'm selling it for $150

Re-installed my engine and tran. Sold some DSM parts, then hooked up wiring with other miscellaneous stuff.

(funny almost everything I've sold has been to people driving F'nF styled civics!)

Finished my battery relocation to trunk !!

Very nicely done! love it.

Wiped the cobwebs away after nearly 5 months of brutal winter. Put about 70 miles on the clock, last time out on these 140 wear tires it was 12F and snowing, so I was enjoying my newfound traction. Then a wash before putting her away for the week:

Welded/ground seat brackets for Tiburon seats. Front outer, rear inner, bolt in.

Outer Rear has 90 degree bracket welded to original foot bracket.

Front inner studs/nuts in car will need to be shortened to clear sliders. :banghead:

Finished my LED brake light boards. Need to design board number 5. Getting closer to the end.
Finished soldering up my brake light boards.

*shudder* so glad I'm not doing that again LOL

I'm curious, with your boards and power supply circuitry, did you implement any supply/circuit protection? Reverse, load dump, transients, etc. Something to handle spikes in excess of 60V, major transients, and horrid load dumps from the battery/alternator charging circuitry.

I'm thinking of putting together a power supply that would accomplish all that, and the system would be plugged into that for its source for both microcontroller and lights. Probably need some beefy inductors and caps, but with the power requirements for 182 series strings of 3 LEDs, I see that being drained fairly quick.

The supply would be based off of either a bunch of Linear Technology LTC4365 or, much simpler but not as effective, some ST RBO40.

Trimmed/ground seat brackets some more.

Front Inners will need a spacer to clear the mounting stud. Which means front Outer will need a spacer to level the front of seat.

I can live with rake built into the seat rails.

Mitsu better not have changed all the angles/positions between driver/pass seats.

Got new passenger seat brackets finished. Just need to clean em up/paint them.

Front inner edge rubs a bit on center console when all the way forward.

1 seat down, 1 to go. :hellyeah:

Installed the bumpers temporarily (switching to 2Gb Talon), installed a spare set of tail lights and put air in the tires. It looks more like a car now.

[/Q

where did you remove then from:confused:

So far I have removed it from the ABS, Stereo, Door Locks, Windows, A/C, and other various things mainly inside the cabin. I will be removing more soon when I get around to removing the engine again.
