It was 20 degrees below zero here just yesterday and tomorrow were in the plus's! I was pretty mad the one morning I went to ride my bike to work thinking "screw winter, below freezing or not im riding dam it!" It snowed 3 cm that night... me=WTF

Onto what I did, just repainted some of the massive paint damage I did repulling my engine/tran, started tearing into the blowen tranny plus popped open the good tran to reshim the input shaft bearings as there to loose and topped it off with starting to paint up engine pieces to swap for ugly old ones.

Yeah, I got mine idling and cruising ok on 91oct, but I eventually gave in and paid for some help from a guy here on tuners. He got my 91oct tune perfect, now we're getting the e85 tune nailed down.

Love your car man so nice.

Thanks! It's been fun restoring it, and I love that it looks pretty much stock except for the FMIC. I've been thinking about painting it black so it's less noticeable.

The 1/4 mile track opens April 12th in Denver, I can't wait to go do a few pulls and see how much improvement I've made over the winter.

Make sure to post some vid's of your runs for us to watch. You getting a new set of shoes for the track or sticking with the street stockers?

I will! I'm sticking with the street tires, I'm all about running the car "as is." I'm not expecting any tractions issues at this point anyway, I'm sure I'll be high 13's, low 13's if I'm lucky.

Headed down to visit SATAN because apparently the bolt holding my harmonic balancer was missing LOL

Threw on the fmic, and plugged in a few thermostat housing plugs LOL.

Reinstalled all plastic trunk panels.

Marked where cardboard spare tire cover needs to be trimmed so you can more then look at the spare.

Admired how cheap this cover looks. :hmm:

Pondered replacing the plastic hinges, before they break.

Cleaned trunk carpet.

Reinstalled rear splash shields.

Reinstalled e-brake cables.

Started disassembling/modding '03 Tiburon seats. *Looks* like no welding needed to get these installed.

Working on the engine and managed to break a ring installing my pistons into the block on my wiseco's. Bonehead move, so much for getting the block back together today...

I HATE when stupid small set backs happen

One time i forgot to grease the input shaft, installed the trans bolted everything and torqued. Then realized it all had to come off again LOL

Painted my VC, timing belt covers, and fuel rail. Installed new injector seals then mated my new tranny to my engine to get ready to drop everything back in tonight......after watching the first episode of Game of Thrones of course!
Really wanting to get my car back together tonight...it was supposed to be done last night but I only got home at 1 am from picking up the new tran.

Messed around trying to mount tiburon seats........

Realized I have a pair of race seat bases (sparco I think) with sliders I got for the ESi years ago.

:hmm: ditch entire sliding mechanism, or use this as a movable template for modding brackets....

Or go full race buckets for primarily street use. ROFL
