1st off your car doesn't have any factory oil lines, just so you know that. I sure hope you didnt plan on hooking an FMU to an oil line anyway.

I'll do it for you:

You need to place your FMU underneath your car by the gas tank and run a vacuum line to it from the intake manifold. The bottom port of the FMU connects to the return line from the fuel pump assembly and the side port goes to the stock FPR. Make sure to use high-pressure fuel injection lines. It will have an inner blue lining to handle the higher pressures.

EDIT: Here's a pic from my eclipse's setup.

b/c if you've read at all, there are two different fuel setups, just like in the diagrams posted in the links above. If you have the late model fuel system then you're gonna put it in the back, early then you can put it under the hood. Both ways are about as simple as modifying can get.

the fuel line's already there
the vaccuum line you are going to have to run from the intake manifold to the fmu

Basically all you are doing for the fuel line is cutting it in the middle and sticking the fmu in between. The problem is the stock line is not long enough so you need to replace it with a longer one, but that's the principle behind it. Look at the diagrams then go out and look at your car and you'll see a little clearer. I know this can seem a bit intimidating because you are messing with the fuel system, but it really is one of the easiest parts of the install up there with the Missing Link and the fuel pump

Oh and for whatever reason these are really bugging me
it's not vortex its vortech
it's not fuel pressure ricer, it's fuel pressure riser
and it's not trew it's threw

Hey paul, one of your pantented diagrams would be useful righ here.....you should post all the diagrams that you've made in posts in one sticky thread or in the tech articles.

Jake linked to posts with my diagrams, but I'll think about making them into a sticky.

I have a pretty huge problem, well i think is huge well my problem is that after i installed the turbo and everything in my 420a 97 eclipse i turned the key without pressing the clucth 3 times and then when i turned it on. then a damn leak in my fuel oil return line the one that runs to the turbo. my bro told me that it might be that i titen the hose to much and prabably cracked it but i dont know any advice. Also i was told that i can run the car without the Fuel pressure riser and without a fuel pump as long as i dont boost and then while the breaking period as arrived then i can install them. is this true?

What was that!?

 Without pressing clutch 3 times? Fuel oil return line? Without fuel pump? WTF

WTF That's just stupid. Why risk grenading your motor when you can just install them now. If you have a setup with an external wastegate then you can remove the spring and you will only build ~1psi if that so you wouldn't have to worry about it, but if it's internally gated and a little touch with the right foot is gonna make the car boost then it's incredibly stupid to not install the fuel pump and FPR immediately

Ii turned the key without pressing the clucth 3 times

WTF

a damn leak in my fuel oil return line the one that runs to the turbo.

If it's leaking, replace it. and WTF is a 'fuel oil return line' and is it the return line or is it the feed line you say return then say it runs to the turbo. If it's return it should run from the turbo to the pan, feed from the back of the block to the turbo

My bad my mistake yes its the feedline from the block to the turbo :thumb: and for the fuel pump i got a walbro fuelpump i know how to install that but i still cant find the hoses that will run to the FPR i will take some pics so u can see what i am doing

well its a internal waste gate and what do u mean by removing the flapper? are u saying to actually take the flapper off how would i do that??

Use a smaller font, and don't use all caps next time: so it doesn't look like you're SHOUTING!

You can just disconnect the flapper from the wastegate arm by removing a small cotter pin. All of this is on the outside of the turbo. You won't need to take anything apart; you'll just need a small pair of pliers, and five minutes of time. That should prevent you from building boost.

then when i want to boost what will i do then? wouldn't it be easier just to not conect the wastegate to the flapper and leave it out hanging?

I'm sorry but this has to be a joke or something, you can't actually be asking these questions? I mean asides from the grammar and spelling the sentence structure is almost unreadable and you ask questions that are just rediculous. You need to do some research! With the questions your asking you car mine as well be a ticking time bomb, because as soon as you put some of those ideas into it thats exactly what its going to be.

and for goodness sakes change the spelling in the thread title its driving me crazy too

:spam: (this is merely my mark to represent the long heard from Xmasta LOL)

rofl waffles...

I've just been lurking since I don't technically have a car with me right now

I think I've got pm's from this guy here and on other boards as well if I'm not mistaken. I haven't been on in a little bit, so sorry for my delayed or lack there of a response. I would agree you should continue researching everything because the battle is actually just beginning when you finally get everything going. It seems like I'm a bit late though and most of the questions have already been answered by the seasoned veterans barring myself :thumb:
