I don’t believe it was leaking out of the biss screw because it’s still screwed in but I’ll do another leak test To verify. I’ll check the tps and will probably test the voltage on the pins while I’m at it. I’ll check fuel too. It revs normal...

when you did the boost leak test how bad was it leaking out of the biss screw?double check the throttle position sensor is fully plugged in. could have a bad connection and the car cant see the tps valuesI would perform a fuel pressure...

My 96 Talon has had a bad idle for quite some time now. My car has a P0300 check engine code. Car gets warm and once you let off the clutch and push it back in the idle drops very low or stalls. The car has recently started to go into a certain...

I’m replacing my upstream o2 sensor at the moment and I ran into a wire I’m not familiar with. My new o2 sensor has the 4 wires that go from the o2 to the sensor connector and I think I got that figured out. There is an extra wire that runs from...

Thought I would update. It was a bad line. Had shit stuck in the line restricting airflow. Replaced it and it runs flawlessly, thank you!

if you are the original poster of this thread it looks like you forgot to put a gasket under the throttle body connection to the intercooler pipe. the factory gasket was a stamped steel and I should be able to see it in your pictures but its not...

There are lots of posts that fall under the category of "too much boost" - but they are usually associated with larger turbo's and bent or broken parts and blown head gaskets and melted pistons.OP seems to have put their finger on the issue...

Triple check your boost controller lines. Post a picture of how it is plumbed.

Ok, so you have no boost control?Maybe this has been mentioned already, but visually inspect that your wastegate actuator is connected to a boost source and its arm is attached to the wastegate arm.Going further, do a boost leak test and be...

My boost Gauge says it’s bouncing past 20-25psi. I don’t think it’s a spark issue because I have a stock fuel pump and injectors and know they can’t handle that much. I’ll post a video in the tread below

What he repaired is exhaust leak, not boost leak. I don't know how much it was leaking but if the boost controller has been set with the exhaust leak, he may see higher boost after repairing the exhaust leak with the same controller setup. And if...

Creeps with rpm’s. Once I get up to around 4500-5000k it keeps cutting out because I don’t have enough fuel for the boost.

Is boost too high immediately or is it creeping with RPM? This could also help diagnose it

Have you checked all your boost control vac lines to ensure you didn't accidentally create a hole in one? Sometimes it doesn't take much.

okay thanks I’ll try that. It’s a 16g turbo from eBay I believe. Not sure what brand, last owner put it on, maybe cxracing but not sure. Yes I have an actual boost gauge.

you should hook the boost line to the waste gate directly. that will allow it to run minimum boostwhat kind of turbo is it, do you have an actual boost gauge

No profile, we have no idea what your modifications are. Please create a vehicle profile.Until you fix your fuel and boost controller issues, bypass your boost controller and plumb the line directly to your wastegate. That will keep it low.

I recently repaired my header/turbo gasket because it was causing a boost leak. Before it ran fine under boost and only ever reached 16psi with the leak. Once repaired I notice a quicker spool and also a whole lot more boost. Car is reaching way...
