K know it's been asked but after searching and reading I think I'm more confused then before I started. I have a 96 GST with 97 GST motor. I have the stock CAS installed now and its just wired to the harness. Previous owner. I swapped the plugs around like I read from doing 1g in a 2g from Magnus. Car just cranks but won't start. It will sometimes sputter and back fire.(think that's what it is). Will the CAS not being wired correctly cause this. I do get spark also. And smells of gas so I believe pump is working.
:aha:
Any help at all appreciated.

Does This look right? botom of pic is the driver side of engine.

You sure you have them like this? If you have a 1996 ECU, you need to use the firing order below on the right.
