Bizzy 3 day weekend. Changed the plugs on the wife's prelude sh. Really need to start putting the same love into this car, that i do with my Eclipse before problems start compounding. Its been an excellent car for the 15 years that shes had it, even with her lead foot beating on it all the time through every gear. Car has started 99.5% of the time when turning the key, doesnt rattle and still shifts like butter.

Detailed my sister's '12 BMW 535i Xdrive. This car always makes me want to upgrade... until i seen the repair estimate for her leaking oil filter housing and oil pan. Guess id be studying for BMW master tech on the side cause theres no way im paying that.

Roller Motor 350 Chevy made it to the run in stand since our hot ass weather dissipated for a couple days. Just a small amount of things to finish up and the customers motor is done! Hey, maybe that will fund the head I need to build :thumb:

Had my front wheels off yesterday. My wife comes out to the garage and wondered how my wheels would look on her car. Didnt pull the car out for better pics cause it started raining and didnt want to do the extra work of wiping it down.. But here was the results of 2g chrome wheels on a Prelude from inside the garage.

I like the look of it too! Would just need to get some plastic spigots for the 64mm to 67mm bore size difference. There was a guy in wisconsin selling a clean set for $150 that I was gonna try to get this weekend but looks like hes already sold them.

Put new CAI in the work truck. It was nice just to be putting new stuff on something..

The beater was due for a full set of brakes. The RR caliper slider was rusted solid (and snapped on removal), and braking was definitely dodgy upon closer inspection. Damn Canadian rust. I’ve owned this 2013 G37x since 2017, it has 69,000ish miles on it and I’ve done nothing other than basic maintenance on it like fluids, brakes and stabilizer links. Super dependable and comfortable in all situations. It’s going to need valve cover gaskets shortly, and the exhaust Y-pipe rusted at the inner seam (that damn Canadian rust again), but hopefully there is another 5+ years in it before the rust takes it off the road. Aside from bad urban fuel economy, this car has been fantastic. Infiniti really had it right with these cars.

Well, while I was working on the DSM, and putting tools away I did a clean up in the garage so it's a little easier to start on the next project.

The blues mobile got some fresh front brakes yesterday, for the first time in over 7 years of ownership and almost 70k miles. Don’t know exactly when they were put on as I hadn’t done brakes on it yet.

Working on the 350 Roller. The harmonic balancer was not correct so I ordered a stock unit now to pull the one on the motor and install the one that is correct. The "performance" balancer had too long of a hub and didn't seat close to the timing cover like its supposed to. Just a minor setback. First start coming soon but its 109* out today so that WILL HAVE WAIT.

I stacked some boxes in front of the 220V wall A/C unit and put the big shop floor fan in front of it. It made the shop bearable at 90* and I think I'll leave it there and buy another floor fan. It's a 24" or 32" fan and moves alot of air. Better than 109* :f-u:

Well, while I was working on the DSM, and putting tools away I did a clean up in the garage so it's a little easier to start on the next project.

Man, people really take doing stuff like this for-granted! I can't tell you the amount of times I'd go to work on my Talon at home with my Dad and he'd start bitchin about what random tool he couldn't find.
But me on the other hand, I would specifically hide things I knew we needed the next day and make sure they were easy to find so I could whip out all the useful tools while he was walking around complaining.

What's the saying again? A craftsman is nothing without good tools? (Cut me some slack, I'm one of the younger members LOL)
Well the craftsman also needs to be able to find said tools to do the work ROFL

Yeah. Sometimes I do a "tool reset." I'll be working on something and have 35 tools out. I start getting overwhelmed and have to just stop, put all the tools away, and start over.

My sons "biatch" at me for putting up a tool I will need again in 10 minutes but I always know where they are. Kids.................ROFL

Got the oil changed and tires rotated in my mom's car. Also got a tie rod changed on the DD Lancer.

That was another adventure of wrong parts. I'll probably get one to do the drivers side in a week or so, since they're both new.

Not a car like the thread probably is implying, but I've been my College's computer mechanic for the Esports club ever since I was elected VP a year ago. Did cable management like this for 7 computers with non-modular power supplies. Absolutely a horrendous time, but they look pretty good now!
And now I have one of them sitting on my desk with a random CPU boot issue. Yippeeeeeeeeee...

Clean as f**k man, especially on a case with no “basement” or area behind the power supply.

Really want to build a PC here soon but I find myself so old that I wouldn’t use it but for occasional YouTube and streaming. Lol. I don’t play like any modern games. Still tempted though.

To add to the thread: did an oil change on Black Bullet(aka the Edge) today. God I love how easy oil changes are to do on this thing. Only issue is oil likes to gush everywhere because the drain hole is 1.25" diameter. Lol. But that makes it drain fast AF boi.

Had just enough time to do that, before I had my limit of being raped by mosquitos, jumped by the gangs of fireants, and choked to death by the heat and humidity twins. Sigh. Really need a garage. Or even a freakin' shed build out of some plywood that I can hang an A/C window unit in. IDGAF at this point. Lol.

Had a local bring me his beautiful Laser to convert it over from a GM MAF to speed density and give it a little tune, settled at 24 psi on 91 octane on this FP 68HTA, fun little street car.
