No camping or BBQ for me...
This decided to start leaking and destroyed the floor before we noticed. I'm currently on round 3 of attempting to fix the cause. After this attempt I'm going to glue it all together with a big tube of "Right Stuff" just like some novice mechanic or DSM Graveyard employee.

Was pump leaking Steve? Hope you can get the floor shored up!

Well I am on vacation and now need to repair the TaoTao. Had an incident at our gocart get together after I won my race. I put the cart into the burm on the south side of the track. I won my race but didn't know it was over (but it was over when I went over).
My little Orange #3 minibike won the fastest minibike races but I let my son drive it as I was sore AF. It did great!
The young mans blue minibike in the video was the next fastest :nono:;), but still got GAPPED!
Good job driving Trevor! Ole #3 can be very sketchy! ROFL
It was alot of fun!

Finished the struts on the Lancer. As expected the sway bar links caused me a great deal of headache. I ended up cutting the driver side link in half just to get the strut out of my way. Then after battling the lower part of the link for too long I notched it till I could get the link head off the ball so I could hold it and get the nut off.

I also boo booed again and had to take the passenger strut back out after having installed it, because the upper spring pad fell out and I didn't realize it til I was putting the driver strut back together and saw the passenger spring pad sitting there.

I was frustrated, but I took it back out and back apart once I finished up the driver side.

Car no longer has rattles from the suspension. I spent yesterday morning cleaning up the rear subframe and painting it. Its not perfect, but for laying on my back in my driveway it works.

Yes.
Pretty much had to strip it down, found 3 leaks in the process. The first was the lower door seal which was all gunked up. Second was the pump, which was leaking where the motor attached to the sump and also the sump was leaking where it sits in the tub. Last was the water inlet on the side. The nut that retains it was loose.

I'd never seen flooring done like this was here. There's about an inch of a sandy floor leveler on top of plywood that they put the carpet and tile on. The dishwasher leaking seeped through and under the leveler to swell the plywood, lifting the leveler and cracking the tile grout. The two tiles in front of the sink were loose and the leveler had broken down.

Dishwasher seems to be ok now after cleaning and coating all the seals with silicone grease. The plywood has dried and I just have to seal it and pour some sort of leveler so I can cement those tiles and regrout the floor.

Then it time to sell this place.

I finally cleaned out the 3000GT from where I piled it up when my move was imminent. Rather than put random parts in boxes and totes and just have it sitting waiting, I stacked parts up completely filling the car all but the driver's seat.

I drove it to the new house at the end of March (a whopping 1.2 miles) and since then it has only moved around in the yard when I am mowing.
I decided to get everything out of it so I can occasionally drive it the whopping 3.5 miles to work. I'm going to give it a quick vacuum and wipe down before it does actually go, but this is the closest its been to fully "mobile" in 4 or 5 months.

Went ahead and washed the 3000, vacuumed it out and wiped down the seats, dash, etc.

Probably drive it to work tomorrow.

My daily 2004 Civic's key cylinder got locked. I was lucky it happened after arriving home because I was expecting UPS delivery today. It didn't let me turn the key at all. I removed the key cylinder and disassembled, found that it seems one of wafers doesn't go back perfectly. I didn't want to change the key, so I just removed the one stuck. It's working again.
And UPS just arrived on time and I could receive Auto EVO 7 electrical circuit diagrams l I sent last week. Now killing time with it.

Not my 3s, but another 3s project. Getting a nice 94 Stealth RT roadworthy for a friend of a family member.

One of the projects was opening the headlights and getting the calcification cleaned out

My dads Power Wagon burnt all the 50 year old wiring under the dash the day before his Torque Masters car show. Took me 6 hrs to rewire the dash so he wouldn’t miss the event.

This weeks project. Prototype a desk mount for some joysticks. So far it's been printing for 24 hours. The printer refuses to cleanly print overhangs so this is the only direction I can print this.

How are you liking your printer? I picked up a Ender V3 Neo during the Amazon Prime day sale but I haven’t been able to assemble it yet

Amazing for what I paid for it. I set it up to print PETG+ and that's all it's done since.
Only complaint is it's a bit slow and it's time for another magnetic print surface. This one is scarred and getting bubbles between the layers which means it's not flat anymore.

Probably a little too late - I could probably chop a piece of aluminum extrusion for you if you needed it. Hate to see that you have to print that whole thing!

1.5” x 3”? Or 40mm x 80mm?

Pretty certain I have 1.5 x 3” I could scrounge up.

Thanks, it's 40x80x180mm. Part of the question is, is it strong enough printed and could I create the profile quickly in OpenSCAD. I was able to find a model, turn it into an outline and then extrude that back into a 3D object. As printed it came out dimensionally accurate @ 40.0mm x 80.0mm. Octoprint says it still has another 10 hours to go. LOL

So I finally had enough of the garage door rotting away and a river running through garage whenever it rained hard, so out with the old junky HD door and in with the new fiberglass PlastPro. Could’ve bought some car parts with that money..yes it was hot as hell, only came close to passing out a few times today. :notgood:
I know, I need to paint, again. Stupid Florida Sun.

This was easy to do, but shitty job. Sprung several leaks as soon as we started using it on a regular basis. Apparently camper toilets are simple to rebuild on, but for $160 I can just buy a brand new one. For some reason, I think I’d rather just go that route as god knows who has used this thing for 20 years before us. What my life has been reduced to these days…

As long as you haven't been reduced to living in it, count your blessings.

Over my years I’ve found owning an RV is like owning a boat, it never stops, however I wouldn’t mind living in mine if it was just me and it is pretty much a second home for us part of the year. However, those that have no choice but to live in ran down ones out in Cali in homeless camps, I wouldn’t be into that style of RV living.

Started working on random things on the Talon, which led me to doing some cleanup and organizing, and taking pictures of parts I need to get listed.

I then hung some lights in the garage so I can actually see to work once the weather starts changing and it starts getting dark earlier.
