I know someone on here is a member on the dsmlink forums, find his thread and post that shit up! He already said it was alright if someone did that HE just wasn't going to share the info . So that's it someone go on there and post it up. Ya I know its not rocket science and this and that, but some people don't have the time to research every little things to make this work right. Literally don't have time. Not the I sit on my ass in front of a comp all day looking at car forums time but the genuin I don't have time people. Guys i dont even have the writeup complete yet, im extremely busy thats why it took like 3 months to complete. In reality its only a couple week job, to many cars to many deadlines

1-speedo converter, only one that works is dscustoms. Dont even bother looking, nothing else works
1-temp converter for the ECT(engine coolant temp), modifry.com
1-honda s2000 ECT temp sensor or any honda temp sensor
1-a lot of time
1-wiring diagrams, shop manuals posted somewhere?


Steering wheel,

Figure it out, cut out the spline. Weld it in. Attach a couple wires thats all. I havent tested the airbag

Ok, that's the info I needed...was being a nice guy that hard? Now that I know cutting and welding is involved, it's not something I want to do, so you saved me a lot of time and possible frustration.

This is getting really annoying. The one question you asked on this site was about a 5V source and one of the suggestions you were given was to step-down from any of the 12V sources. On the DSMLink site, you included in your list of parts a 12-to-5 stepper, but on this site you don't mention this part.

You have the right to keep any and all information to yourself. You also have the right to not post teasers. I hope that you treat these two rights as highly correlated in the future. This is a community. It is not a stage. You want to post pictures and that's it: get a page on Car Domain.

I can only imagine what they'd do to you on NABR if you pulled this stunt there.

Damn, talk about shady as hell to your own community. That guy asked a question here, got an answer here and then goes on to deny it. Talk about betraying your community.

Whats next? He's gunna get a Spoon engine, vtec, and make his car rwd? Then, he's not gunna post the wiring schematics of that either. I think he's a confused emo kid, doesn't know if he likes dsm's or hondas, so mixes and matches them to keep himself happy.

Even if you finally post some parts that you used to make your jdm s2000 instrument cluster work, your still an embarrassment to the dsm community, remember that.

Some of the stuff thats needed,

1)Cluster ap1 or ap2 with rear plugs($200, but now they range from $300-500 on ebay)
2)dscustoms speedometer calibrator, stock speedo reads at 4ppm where the s2k needs 160ppm($150)
3)stepdown from 12-14dc to steady 5v for modifry ECT($5)
4)modifry ECT(Engine coolant temp) converter($75)
5)Autometer tach adapter, our signal does nothing for the cluster($65)
6)Honda s2000 temp sensor, $27

Steering wheel,
1)steeringwheel off evo forums. $total was $375 canadian shipped
2)lock from stock wheel
3)weld lock onto new wheel keeping same depth $100

Some of the stuff he said was used on the DSM Link forums. Thanks to a "unknown" member for that info. I will continue to post more as it comes to me here in this thread.

I quess i should have stated project's instead of project when i made the comment about answered questions concerning this project.

Like anyone i dont like being called a liar, im not an idiot anyone can 'search' the forum for previous threads. Common i post so often, like 4 theads in my life i think i can remember each one of them. Those two posted threads were the ones i was referring too.

This really irritates me, a friend asks me to post on this forum because he doesnt have access to dsmlink and this is the crap i get.

Ive given people enough info on how to do these projects. Did you ever think of what i did, i put a pretty good investment into both of these projects and made them work.

Now everyone who ever though of doing something like this now knows it 'can' be done. This could have been over $1000 down the drain.


Im just really sick of this crap, some ass that has membership on this forum and dsmlink came on there and stated i most likely didnt do the work myself. So im a little irritated.

if you want a small airbag steering wheel, go to Raid-HP and get one( three spoke 3 series look)

they run around 1200 dollars.

The weld is better then the stock evo weld, have no fear this weld will never break.

If you took apart an evo wheel you would understand what im talking about. The stock weld is very sad.

Let's just say I find this comment offensive.

I didn't think it was necessary to give you the circuit diagram since it's printed on the back of the box at Radio Shack and Google would return a couple thousand of them.

For those people not on the DSMLink forums here's what I posted in response to his question there and never got an answer.

"How much current do you need at 5v?
On a 2G ECU I believe pin 81 is the +5v sensor power, on a 1G it's pin 23.
You might want to run a 7805 off the main +12v if you need any sigificant current."

It wasn't until Josh Wingell posted a link to a 7805 regulator circuit a day later that the light finally turned on.

I should point out that he received an answer here in 12 hours but it was 4+ days before I saw the post on the Link forums and gave him an answer.

I retract what i said, i admit i did miss your post on dsmtuners about the 7805. Cause thats what i did exactly, i built the regulator like that mentioned on the link forum.
