Evo IV steering wheel on 2G?

Hello! I would need to know if someone has mounted a steering wheel from an evo IV without any troubles on an eclipse 2g, just plug&play, or if I need something special to mount it (like evo's VIII SW).

I used the forum searcher but didn't found nothing about that, thanks!

A steering wheel off of an Evo IX will not be a direct bolt on. The hub on the Evo wheel is too small. You will need to have the hub piece welded on from a 1g steering wheel.

^once you have it welded you will also have to wire up the horn and airbag if you want them

Thanks for replies but I was saying SW from an EVO IV, not VIII or IX, these last are more common..

I hear that SW from EVO IV fits plug&play on an eclipse 2g because model year it's similar but I wish to confirm it.. thanks again.

Ah, sorry about the confusion. We're not used to dealing with Evo IVs in the US. I would imagine that if it is from the same time period then it should bolt on without a problem. Of course, I'm not sure that many people on this forum will be able to 100% confirm that for you.
