I was looking in a magazine and they said that Pacesetter made a header for the turbo. Does anyone know about the quality or performance of the header?

So yeah i would stay away from it and save the money for something much better. Ill be putting my ported 2g manifold back on this weekend.
!
, it pulls just as hard, if not harder than it did when I was running 12.7's at the shootout. I cant wait to get the 10inch core on their and give it 20psi
.
. Im just worried that something might melt or the heat caused by the manifold will deform my carbon fiber hood........Originally posted by Golden4g63child
Just giving my input, I bought the armor coated version from summit racing. It came with paper gaskets like 91PlyLaser said. The runners are not equal length and the manifold to head flange was not flat (on the back side of the flange, the side that the flange connects to the head, the runners are welded it such a way that they protrude about 1/2 of a cm), however when I installed it there were no signs of any leaks. The armor coat is still on the manifold and not burnt off. I did notice a increase in power in top end pulls and it sounds straight up mean when you WOT it. Just a warning with this manifold and any other tubular manifold, the heat that it generates is very extreme. It made the underside brace of my VIS carbon fiber hood soft so I said screw it and took it off and replaced it with a ported 2G manifold. I didn't want to deal with melting the underside of my hood as well as fan shrouds and other ish. If it didn't generate the extreme heat that it did, I might have kept it. I thought about wraping the manifold but it would void Pacesetter's warranty and it would look downright nasty due to the way the manifold was constructed. All in all, it a pretty good manifold, it just depends if you can live with the excess heat that it generates.... To those who are interested, here are some pictures of the manifold installed on my car (came off the following day though!) Enjoy...

Stainless Ceramic Armor coated part #72C1225 well worth the $128 extra won't rust or discolor and holds heat in very well.

Get a real manifold that works. The setter of pace manifold uses mild steel. :thumbdown
