I have a PR/CX kit going back into my 2g. I have swapped from 5-speed to automatic. With the 5-speed, it fit perfect. Now that I have an automatic, I can't get it back in. PR's website says some modification is necessary to install the kit along with an automatic transmission, so I called and asked what "A Minor Amount Of Modification To The Upper Intercooler Piping" was. I was told to search on here for a thread, and that there were a bunch of pictures what trimming was necessary.

Before I go hacking my kit apart, I would like to see these pictures. I have searched high and low and have not found anything other than the following thread:

No pictures there. Can someone provide some images of what is necessary to install this kit in an automatic 2g?

It can be done all I had to "modify" was the U shaped pipe that connects to upper pipe and end tank. I cut about 2 inches and it worked for me. Is it a tight squeeze? Hell yeah and I had to menuver the upper pipe so the bov wouldn't hit the hood, I have a greddy type s but even with a 1g it would hit. Eventually ill get the flanged rewelded lower and then get a custom U shaped pipe. Good luck
