Ive already attempted/finished installing this kit on my car. However, it was no easy task...and im not 100% sure I did it right.

I was told this was direct bolt-on and extremely easy to install....so unless I did something wrong...I dont see truth in this.

Can somebody please post a detailed installation (with pics) of the punishment fmic for the 2g. I run the stock turbo...which faces away from the other IC pipe...thus making this install a pain. On punishment's website it said nothing about this...so is this my problem?

Im gunna have to take it to a body shop to fab some pipes if I need to.

Thanks guys!

Also: I did not receive any instructions with this kit...kinda bummed about that.

What exactly doesn't fit? It comes with a J pipe so you should know just by that it was made for a downward facing turbo or 14b/16g.

I just installed my kit yesterday and it was a snap, everything fit perfect !

I'm a little jealous, your's definately looks like it fit a lot better than mine did! then again I did get one of the 1st kits when it 1st came out!

looks great, I have thought about putting the front bumper support back on the car but if I get in an accident I'm screwed either way if I have that on or not.

The kit doesn't come with any instructions, but the link is listed here to the PR 2g kit install that myself and a few others have posted many pics and what to do to install it. As far as I know it will not work on a t25/t28 turbo, you'd have to get another "U" shape pipe to go to the stock 2g turbo. Just upgrade to a 14b/16g style turbo and use the J-pipe that came with the kit :thumb:

Indeed if you want to keep the fiber beam you have to mod the hell out of it :coy:

I'll try to post more pics of the piping maybe it can help some ppl to have a better idea of how it works :)

Should be easy, i have mine, (not installed) so maybe something is a miss? and PL69 great shots, i want to see what you have to do to the bumper, so more pic's please (waiting to drop the engine in before i atemp the FMIC)

Hah, ya it wasn't worth it to try and cut the 2g front bumper support up just to fit the IC core in. It already took me long enough to trim the damn bumper cover!

Well the main problem I ran into is the long pipe with the BOV. Im puzzled how you got yours to fit so perfectly. Mine didnt line up correctly...and it BARELY met the throttle body elbow...I mean barely.

As far as my turbo goes...Im gunna upgrade it...not yet...but soon. I used some of the stock hoses to sorta rig a temp flow to the other side of the IC. Im gunna take it to an auto shop and get them to make something more street worthy.

Punishment needs to update their description of this product. On it...it says that it comes with a "detailed instruction(s)" booklet of some sort.

Iono...for some reason the BOV side doesnt seem to line up at all...and its a battle to get it to hook up.

Thanks for the replies so far guys!

Keep adjusting the pipes and couplers. Mine fit perfectly and other than blowing off a few couplers because they were not tight enough, I've had no problems with the kit.

I also had a problem with that section, but was able to make mine fit. You need to use that "bent" coupler, there are 2 of them. One goes right where you described and the other goes at the other end of that same pipe.

As for the bov it's flanged for a 1g bov but there are holes to bolt up the "greddy type s style" bov. Just got to line it up perfectly and tighten it down. I would sugest some rtv sealant on the bov gasket, they tend to always leak there :thumb:

And boost leak test that after you install! I drove around for a couple days with a huge boost leak because I had no choice...I didn't have a test right afterwards  needless to say my turbo hated me for those 2 days!

I've also been having some problems with the upper IC pipe. I think I just have the couplers in the wrong places. I'll be checking on that today, I hope. I also didn't get any instructions, but it isn't the end of the world. I'll post back when I get it fixed up. I also have to wait for my new MHI Evo III 16G arriving on Monday to complete the install of the FMIC. As everyone has said, it's impossible to mate the t-25 to the PR FMIC hot side pipe. I did find out that if you have to keep your t-25 or don't have the cash for the 16G upgrade... you can go to ETS where they have a kit ($65+ship). I don't think it comes with any couplers, but it should keep you above the crossmember. It has a very tight 180* bend from the turbo downward. So check that out.

Here are some more pics, I have more pics in my camera these are from my blackberry.

thanks for the pic's they help a ton, one question i see you did't move the power stearing cooler? i have mine moved already no biggy just thought i would ask.

Hmmm...it seems that for those who have it perfect, that the Bov pipe has a more defined angle on it. See mine doesnt come out at a 90 degree angle...its sorta pointing up. This causes it to be both close to the front and forces me to turn the pipe that comes off the intercooler around. Its the only way i got it to fit :/
