Ive already attempted/finished installing this kit on my car. However, it was no easy task...and im not 100% sure I did it right.

I was told this was direct bolt-on and extremely easy to install....so unless I did something wrong...I dont see truth in this.

Can somebody please post a detailed installation (with pics) of the punishment fmic for the 2g. I run the stock turbo...which faces away from the other IC pipe...thus making this install a pain. On punishment's website it said nothing about this...so is this my problem?

Im gunna have to take it to a body shop to fab some pipes if I need to.

Thanks guys!

Also: I did not receive any instructions with this kit...kinda bummed about that.

I wanted to make a suggestion. I just installed a fmic on a 2g fwd for a friend. We are cheap an buy the piping an cores an have as many sections of the pipes welded up cause thats just how we get down out here:hellyeah: .

He was running a t 25 i just took a grinder with a cutting wheel an hacked off the 90 on the t25 cold side. We made it just like a regular down flow an used a reducer coupler an it has not blown off at 15 psi. I mean i dunno how you guys like your t25 an might not wanna deface it but i could give a sH** less cause its a t 25. It definitely works and you dont have to play around with a U shaped pipe trying to get it to fit, we had problems with that hitting the shift linkage.:thumb:

eclipse-gs-t how exactly did you modify it for the gm maf? Punishment doesn't have it as an option on their site and I would love to run blowthrough while still recirculating the BOV. What all did you do with the pipes in order to get everything to work?

a little help i have a intercooler just no piping yet i'm still running the side mount and i am going to be running a hx35 turbo and i was wanting to know if the punishment FMIC kit would be worth it or just go with the intercooler that i have a just have some pipes made???

well for my 3''gm maf i didnt have to make any mod it did fit perfect as you can see in the pictures but to make it fit to my t-25 i had to use some pipes from my greddy piping.

Ok so then your just saying no cutting/beaded of any pipes was necessary in order to put the gm maf in its current postion then correct?

Thanks again...Jim

So several of you guys have installed the PR front mount with the stock 2g turbo, anyone want to elaborate on performance differences. ET's, dyno test, butt dyno, Turbo Lag(increase/decrease), Top end/Bottom end gain/loss? I'm interested in things like the pressure loss from the small turbo to the large fmic. And also if the temps cool down any better since some people are turning up the boost on the stock turbo, which blows hotter air. Any feedback would be good to read about for future mod choices. Tell us about your results, thanks.
