Punishment racing FMIC is a great kit I ran 10s on one. They are good for almost 500hp I believe so 400 would be a problem.

Yeah i think it is ...the flow numbers on the intercooler core is 650cfms so that should be max out at about 550hp or so ...so the kit is good enough for the power level you arre seeking...good buy...good luck man.:thumb::talon:

I have the other parts i just got the core, i had pipes for years, and my bov flange for now that ill upgrade to a longer pipe to the fmic. Couplers, and some clamps should be here tommorrow and my elbow is getting powder coated. So she should be all mocked up this weekend. The interior and exterior is getting overhaulded and painted.

I have a Punishment Racing Short rout FMIC and i love it. The only thing is that you cant run A/C anymore and you have to loop your power steering cooling line, chop up the crash beam and open up the holes in the front of the car for the piping to fit. It is a decent ammount of work but it is worth it in the end. Good luck

it interferes with your A/C? how's that?

The core goes really close to the ac condensor. As setup from the factory the lines come out of the front of the condensor and loop back to the engine bay. These bends interfere with the core. You have to bend the a/c lines without breaking them to exit the condensor to the side for the kit to fit on a 1g. Most people just delete the a/c. For people like me, where it reaches 115* daily, this isn't an option. Let me just say, if you live where i live and have your a/c deleted, you are dumb. I would rather my car be .05 seconds slower in the quarter, than die.
