2gb talon/punishment racing fmic

I'm thinking about buying the punishment racing fmic for my talon, but I was wondering how it will fit with the 2gb bumper conversion. I researched for awhile now, however I have not gotten any answers to my specific question. How much will I have to trim my bumper? I definitely do not want to cut the front side of the bumper because of its unique look. Can I just trim the insides? I currently have the stock t25, but in the future I will upgrade to a 16g

Nothing NEEDS to be trimmed, I trimmed the top piece off on my old car because I think it looks better.

This is all assuming you're talking about the bumper cover, not the actual bumper. The bumper will need to be trimmed to fit the fmic or removed. Up to you.

I'm talking about my actual front bumper not cover, which is the 2gb talon bumper. Can I just trim the inside of my actual bumper?

Yes, you can trim just the inside of the front bumper. It will fit very similar to the 2gb Eclipse bumper, but you will see some of the coupler/piping. The punishment intercooler will not work with 2gb talon fog lights as they are located a little bit more inset than the 2gb eclipse.

Unfortunately I do not have pictures of the 2gb Talon bumper with the PR kit, but I assure you it fits just fine.

I was able to flip some of my piping around to get the smaller intercooler to work, but I also auto swapped at the same time which creates some issues. I don't know if the PR piping will work with the smaller intercooler and 5-speed, but it's more likely than not since the 5-speed is far smaller than the auto.

The crash beams are identical between the two platforms. You'll have to trim them equally.

Thank you. Another question. If I trim my bumper it to fit my current fmic, will it mess up the measurements for the pr kit. I ask because I'm in the process of figuring out whether or not I have buy a new water pump along with every timing component which all equals about 400. If it's not the water pump then I will buy the pr kit.
