Ive already attempted/finished installing this kit on my car. However, it was no easy task...and im not 100% sure I did it right.

I was told this was direct bolt-on and extremely easy to install....so unless I did something wrong...I dont see truth in this.

Can somebody please post a detailed installation (with pics) of the punishment fmic for the 2g. I run the stock turbo...which faces away from the other IC pipe...thus making this install a pain. On punishment's website it said nothing about this...so is this my problem?

Im gunna have to take it to a body shop to fab some pipes if I need to.

Thanks guys!

Also: I did not receive any instructions with this kit...kinda bummed about that.

Anyone have an answer anyway to get the gm maf in there...I dont have the tools to cut, bead, and file the edges to make them smooth...

what answer were you looking for? if you want it to be perfectly cut and beaded and smooth, you will have to pay extra for a shop to do it for you.

Willing to pay as always, just didn't know who would do it them or some random company I have to look for...

Stainless steel is a pita to cut with out the proper tools but its really easy to weld...

hey guys i just bought this kit from cxracing for $199 on ebay, now in the pic looks way different then what i got, here is some pic, Im trying to put it together and i saw that it wont fit the t-25 so this means that Im in big trouble.

thank you guys again

Your kit looks the same as everyone else, your jsut m issing the J pipe, tb elbow and support bar is why it ###### only cost $199. It will not direct bolt up to a t-25 either, if you look at the t-25 versus the kit you will see why.

PR's kit is't ment for a T25, More for the 14b,16g,18g, and down flowing turbos, 20g, 50trim (might be to much for it) but your going to have to mod the pipes or get new pipes. as with destruckeclipse said, only thing missing is the pipes he said (j - Tb elbow) and the support bar.

You would either have to cut a reweld the elbow off the t-25 or get a 180* coupler if they even make them.

 a 180* coupler I hope this is a joke... that would basically be a straight through unless im misreading...

Kolby

If you guys read the Punishment site it says its a direct fit for the 14b 16g etc with the j pipe if your running the t-25 minor modifications will be needed to make the kit work***

Isnt it kinda impractical to put a Front mount that size while still running the t-25?

A 180* is A U

Anything thats gonna lower intake temps from a t25 is going to help...;)

Could you share the answer? I'm planning on getting this kit, but I also have the T25  What do you have to do?

You should get ETS Front mount and get somthing thats going to fit the way it should:thumb:

with a core that size even running the t25 at its peak efficiency 15psi wont you have a large cfm drop due to the lack of turbo?

Kolby

The colder the Air is the denser the Air is...
I believe your talking about Pressure drop...not air flow
Core size is not going to affect the air flow as much as the Actual Internal design of the FM

I would like to read about results from running this FMIC with the stock T-25, running anywhere from 10-15 PSI. Since a few ppl are doing installs w/the stock turbo, let us know your experience and even some numbers if you test/dyno/log.

LOL oh shoot u knocked it off! yea that $199 kit is much cheaper than the $350+ shipping from punishment..

now the thing is the pipes arent beaded right?

I need to get in the Resale business from what I've seen I could be makin' a few bucks

Why do people buy kits from PR when they can get the same thing Most of the time cheaper from CX?

Probably because you dont get the same kit for cheaper.

Tim

I received a few questions by email, just to make things clear I baught the kit from a Canadian Shop that baught it from Punishment Racing. ALL the pipes, flanges and couplers work perfectly, The only problem I had is I had to retack (weld) 8 T-clamps but thats all.

Someone asked me for pics on the car here you go :D I had a lot more better pictures but I accidently deleted some.... :(

Pics look good! I ordered mine from cxracing and there real nice, there including extra pipe to try and fit the T25. It needs to be like a V pipe, ETS sells it but its like 71 dollars! Ill probably end up bending the pipe to its correct dimension.

for you guys running t-25, dejon makes a 180* bend for you. its under the front mount piping on there page, you can get it to match up to the PR kit.

and for you auto guys, i have pictures how i got it to work, just pm me.

any other problems?
