People have said those pumps are oem with the casting ground off, but juding by the roughness of the case I'm willing to say it's a topline. My oem case is perfectly smooth/shiny.

Regardless, I personally don't have a gripe with topline

Yeah me either I just thought it was OEM but if you have one and say it looks different I wouldn't doubt it's a topline. I just didn't see any reason to grind off a topline number and then sell it for less than the toplines go for.

I just got back from picking up my SBR race fmic so the cooling part of my build is set pictures will be posted when I get home.:hellyeah:

Sean, I just recommend an oem shaft with the groove in it. That is the key. To allow oil to drain away from the pump. And not to just sit there and get hot and burn up. THE GRROVE IS THE KEY.

Is that SBR FMIC CFM rating going to be enough?

I was worried about the same thing so I called SBR and they said it's rated to 1000hp. I don't think it's that good but I think it will support 800whp when mated with my coolingmist kit considering I will be running 3" IC piping.

Okay, because certain that is a 3.5" intercooler and the highest CFM I've seen for that size is around 1000-1200cfm which is 600-750hp.

ETS list there PRO RACE series fmic at 750hp and that's 3.5" thick but it's only 10" tall. The SBR Race FMIC is 12" tall so I think it should be cool.

Here's some mock fitting pics(not like the last mock fitting I actually used the car LOL)

Only bad part is one of the fittings broke during shipping. We have this stuff called Qband i'm gonna try and use at work instead of taking the old fitting out because it looks like it was leak proofed and the piece is just a plastic nipple.

And a pile full of parts ROFL

Well my new job I will be getting soon will a low me to learn how to weld on someone elses dime so a welder will be in my near future. :thumb:

Tell me about it. I have in the back of my truck every single part needed to do an AWD auto to AWD 5speed conversion . . .

Welding is empowering. Once you learn a few techniques and get smooth with it, you feel like you can do any project!

Yeah that's why I can't wait to learn. My only hold up has been time but since the new job will be paying me to learn on their time I'm game.
