I can't wait to see how stiff this thing is with all these mounts in.

Def use a OEM shaft
And that pump is topline
People have said those pumps are oem with the casting ground off, but juding by the roughness of the case I'm willing to say it's a topline. My oem case is perfectly smooth/shiny.
Regardless, I personally don't have a gripe with topline

Sean, I just recommend an oem shaft with the groove in it. That is the key. To allow oil to drain away from the pump. And not to just sit there and get hot and burn up. THE GRROVE IS THE KEY.

Its an awesome build man makes me jealous
I keep trying to tell my wife that every man has a corner of crap.
at least until I get a garage.I just got back from picking up my SBR race fmic so the cooling part of my build is set pictures will be posted when I get home.
Is that SBR FMIC CFM rating going to be enough?
I was worried about the same thing so I called SBR and they said it's rated to 1000hp. I don't think it's that good but I think it will support 800whp when mated with my coolingmist kit considering I will be running 3" IC piping.
Okay, because certain that is a 3.5" intercooler and the highest CFM I've seen for that size is around 1000-1200cfm which is 600-750hp.

Every true dsmer needs an arc welder and a 25+ gallon aircompressor

And a pile full of parts
Well my new job I will be getting soon will a low me to learn how to weld on someone elses dime so a welder will be in my near future.
Tell me about it. I have in the back of my truck every single part needed to do an AWD auto to AWD 5speed conversion . . .
Welding is empowering. Once you learn a few techniques and get smooth with it, you feel like you can do any project!
