Love the reaction at the end, fist in the air! Awesome job man.

I seen this car in person 2 years ago at the Dsm shootOut in nj englishtown. I Couldn't beleve how clean the car was and sick the engine bay was, nd now 2 years later your back with the same car setting records. That's dedication man, props:hellyeah:.. Dsm for the win!!

Peak boost was 40 psi.

I'm interested in pushing the stock block. How would you do with a 67mm turbo as far as, "how much power you'll be willing to make"? Also how much boost would you attempt to run? Most I have spoke with say 450 ft pounds is the most you can make and be reliable on a stock block. I put ARP hardware( main, rod, and head studs) to add some reliability. I'm just looking to see what you think? I have a precision unit with a t-3 foot print. I'm willing to be generous with the boost level. My goal is to make power. I just don't want to blow it up.

congrats! that is alot to be proud of...but how can u rev a stock block to 10k without any issues? also what clutch are u running? congrats again:thumb:

not to bash anyone but if you read the title.. it says stock shortblock..
He never mentioned the head was stock!

But DAMN thats amazing.. congrats, my hat's off to you my friend!!!

Not exactly sure of your question. I am running a 67mm turbo currently. The car hasn't been on a dyno with the current set-up, but taking into consideration the weight and trap speed, I am fairly confident it is making 600+ WHP ( last time on a dyno it made 596 WHP, trapping mid 130's ). Torque was low 400's.

My car only has head studs, the rest is OEM. Obviously every engine is different but I see no reason why you can't make 500 WHP reliably with stock internals. As for boost, every set up is going to be different. I think my turbo is capable of more but I did not want to push the block any more. :) But I would start off with low boost and carefully watch your logs / tune as you turn it up. I have been running 35 psi for the last 3 seasons.

Man you need to get a more up to date turbo!

No complaints on the turbo but I am working with FP on a possible replacement. ;)
