Nice going Sean, but c'mon man, I thought you are already running/just kidding/.
No offense ...but I doubt your buddy's civic is gonna be 800hp.

You are going to post final prices when you're done, right? Because I am very interested in what I need to start saving to compete w/ my buddies Civic. He is going to be pushing nearly 800Hp and I can't let a Civic beat an Eclipse!

it can be done trust me im from nyc and there are a coupl of 800whp civics
I will put it to you like this there is no set price on this kinda thing it's all kinda what you do with what you can get your hands on. To give you a realistic number I would save 10k get the big stuff and the little stuff will nickle and dime you the rest of the way to 15k just about. but I mean you can do it for cheaper and you can spend more but that's a good ball park to save. You figure my head will cost about 1500 all said and done and the block as well so that's 3k right there not including the car the cage the turbo system tuning ect.. i said I would show everyone a normal guy can make a fast car(fingers crossed) not a broke guy
Funny you say that cause one of my goals is to race and beat Cezar or however the hell he spells it from High Boost. I see him running NY with top street and I see him beating up on mildly built talons. Even if I don't win I think that race would get a good amount of attention in both worlds.
Never said it couldnt be done...butt lets face it...How many thread have there been on this forum where the OP's goal was 700, or 800 hp
or to run 9, or 8
How often does the OP achieve his goal???????
not sayin slippi is one of those people...he actually stayed tru to his thread...and kept the updates comming....so0o far I do believe he will build a 9 sec. car
My point is...we see these types of post all the time...and it never happends....

In case anyone ever needs these numbers because they were not on that site that I linked or Vfaq the crown plug that blocks the opening for the oil pump smaller shaft is MD125376 and the oring behind it is MD041021
Sean, are you using the 90-style straight-cut oil pump gears or the 91-99 style helical gears?
