I really love your build, had to show my wife I wasn't the only one building motors in the house. your a brave man. I've been thinking of selling my mk3 supra lately and just building a 4g63 and then buying a awd shell. good luck maybe someday I'll have a post like this.

Go for it. I actually came to dsm's from the supra world. I had a 7mgte 87 supra and got tired of blowing HG's and taking off my intake manifold to change spark plugs LOL. Made the swap and never looked back. These cars are def more fun to work with and tune.

Thumbs up to a fellow Jersey guy and thanks for answering my PM. Good luck with your build....

I was going to go with DSS stage axles but after talking with a couple guys that have been there I just picked up a stock 4 bolt lsd rear setup. The rear and axles look to be in great shape too so I'll run them and if they break I will just convert to a mustang rear because I would be pretty mad if 1500 axles just broke.

Just a quick update didn't get a chance to put the rear in yet because the lift was being used for something else where my car is. I ended up selling my kirkey seat I used for mock fitting LOL and bought two Corbeau seats that aren't much heavier at all and look and feel better for street driving.

Ok Sean I'am starting to think your just buying parts and just taking pics!:hmm:

Start putting them on the car and go already who needs paint anyways:D:rolleyes:

You started this thread in Dec and so far what we have seen is

1. parts and some more parts
2. you acting like your racing your car in your kitchenROFL
3. some more parts
4. you tearing apart a motor in your kitchenOMG:nono:
5. some mock up
6. and you turning the inside of your house into a shop

You have no pics of anything put together? and you know you had to clean that kitchen back up! Because if your GF would have came home and seen that :cry:ROFL

P.S. We wont show her the pics if you hurry up and get this thing done:shhh:

Patience Young grass hopper

I am moving the end of this month and I took the whole week off from work. If my guy hasn't finished the paint job I'm gonna go over paint it one day come back two days later and put the harness back in mount the seats EMS and get her looking like a car not a shell. I don't have a windshield on it so I was a little hesitant on putting expensive stuff in the car not mounted for obvious reasons. I promise by the 5th there will be parts in a painted car :thumb:

The install process has started up again. :)

I didn't have my camera with me today but the4 bolt is actually already on and I did the breaks at all four corners calipers pads and rotors. I'm waiting for the corbeau brakets to come then the seats will be going in too and the wiring harness too.

Your build is coming along quite nicely,i like that you've planned most everything out before just slapping parts together. When do you estimate you'll be done with the car?

Sean!!!!!!!!! GET THAT SUCKER RUNNNNNINNNNNNGG!

Lol I don't want to rush this one man the only event in my eyes it HAS TO BE DONE BY is the shootout. I'll hit up you ad jay when it's time cause I"m still gonna take he car up to nate and have him baptise this beast hen it's running with a base tune.

Here's a list of stuff I still need to get:
Twin disk clutch(cough cough carver:D)
GRP Rods
Weisco 1400 pistons
L19's
Magnus Mechanical fuel pump setup
FUel Cell(as soon as I get a hold of Jay because I have had money for his for like a month now LOL)
Cams and head internals
FIC blue max 1650 injectors
AFPR
Coilovers
Built Trans/transfercase
Raxle front race axles
WHeels

I think that's about it. Not a short list but not that bad considering. The biggest thing that will hold it up is money for the trans and transfercase because I really don't want to cut corners there. Everything else is just nickle and dime stuff.

Nice bit by bit even my project is small compared to yours thats how im doing, it ill look for you at the shootout this year. Vic.

EVeryone' roject is big to them and that's all that matters:thumb:

Good luck with your bild and like you said def looking forward to seeing everyone at the shootout

All i have to say is the blue max injectors are the shit. I picked up the 1550cc, and idle, part throttle the cars perfect. I got my map pretty much in check.

Sean, consider the 1550s, they will be plenty of fuel, and you can get extremepsi to match prices with importevolution.com. They have the 1550s for 403. My duty cycle on 26psi is 40-45 percent LOL. A/Fs are 10.8

So you decided to go with aluminum rods after all? What made you change your mind?

I was going to as well but that group buy never picked up and bit the bullet for Manley I beams
