I'd like to see some nice SMIC's made again for the 2G instead of rigging in a Supra SMIC.

AGREEEEEEEEED!!!!!!! I've looked everywhere for a SMIC, but can't find them.

And even the used ones are very hard to come by... grrrrrrr

Will someone please manufacture these again???? kthbai

Hahn makes them too man. Theres a bunch out there.

If you can locate one of the bunch that are out there for me, it would be geatly appreciated! :p

Hmm. Well, looks like thats going to be it. I just have this fluidyne radiator and didnt want to shame it with ugly stock brackets.

There was just a vendor on ebay selling a bunch of Hahn's Racecraft SMIC's. I know because I ordered one for my buddy here on post. There was 12 or something like that left. I can't find the seller anymore though.

How about a rear carrier bearing mount for awd swap guys?

Or a front undertray from the bottom front of the bumper to the inner fender liners? Like an evo. THere are pics of it being an OEM part, but JNZ and local dealers called me crazy...Haha

Number 3 on the pic...

It's not that you're crazy, it's just that Mitsubishi no longer makes that part, and it's not a part that ASA lists in the catalog (the online ones are not an actual Mitsubishi catalog).

We get calls for this part about once a month.

There *is* one showing in Mitsubishi's online inventory at a dealer:

MB908263
NO

MMSA PDC - Obsolete Part
MB908263
1
12/27/2011 05352 - ROSEVILLE MITSUBISHI - RON RAPADAS ROSEVILLE CA 916-783-1000

Good luck.

I figured if JNZ couldn't get it, its not there.

Also, I made a front hood weather strip that shows under 95 eclipses. It caused overheating, so I'm guessing why its not made for any other year.

How about doors for 1G's that dont have that upper trim around the windows. Im talking doors more like the 2g's have. That would be awesome since I want to make my 1g a targa =P. Also how about a good targa kit? Latches seals, and fiberglass roof. Sunroof should be an option for these. I heard they make them but have yet to find any. ORACLE Halo headlights for the 1gb's. I would buy them in a heartbeat. And make a good color selection. I want green LOL.

What's an undertray?

The dual gauge pod for around the tach is still open to be made if anyone wants to undertake that..

I think he might be referring to a way to flatten the bottom of the 1gs to smooth airflow underneath. Lots of high end cars have aero build into the belly pan to duct air to the back. It's that the rear diffusers are for on racecars. :p I plan on manufacturing my own. Maybe even go from a front lip to rear diffusers. :sneaky:

Someone tried a targa on a 2g and the chassi went to hell, Id expect the same from a 1g. They were designed for the pillars to be tied together, so you'd be getting some serious body roll I'd imagine. Consider what else structurally would hold the front and rear of the car together.

Sunroofs can be done with a universal kit.

I would have to see it done, but rear window louvers might look pretty sweet on a 1g or 2g. :shhh:

I'd really like to see some aftermarket HVAC knobs. The OEM knobs break so easily. Also a one piece hard plastic, or just a better rolling replacement privacy cover for the hatch.

I actually thought about making something like this too.It would be stupid easy to make it out of sheet metal. But you would almost want the downpipe to go below the metal, and than your exhaust on top of the metal too.

Unless it wouldn't effect anything by leaving the exhaust inside.

Until I can budget the AEM Series 2 Module I am hoping for a better Pigtail Pin out Diagram with more Diagnostic information. Factory information on ohms reseistance to each component. Would be helpful for beginner. Not just talking about the CEL testing. Searching the Tech Forum this info is not standing out or is buried.

In line pigtail diagnostic's for laptop software and a Serial/USB connection possibile links?

Thanks.

An O2 Housing to fit between a "Holset" BEP Housing (v-band) and mate with a stock DP flange. AND includes a flex 'tube/pipe' to recirc your external wastegate. Make various options for the flange on the wastegate tube.
(Or make a complete downpipe (with O2 bungs) that goes from the BEP housing all the way to the Cat)

Pointless. Most downpipes taper down to a 2.5" flange to fit the stock O2 and if your running a Holset, you'll be wanting to cut that off and go 3+" anyways.

Or make a complete downpipe (with O2 bungs) that goes from the BEP housing all the way to the Cat

That's not a bad idea though, can't see if costing anymore than these O2 housings that are already $300+.

I'd like to see a different A/C system setup for short route front mount intercoolers and a triple gauge pod that is the whole pillar like for 2g's but for a 1g.
