Painted a wheel to see how it would look

My paint scheme for the eclipse was black with black wheels but for winter i was going to use my stock 16" rims. They looked like crap so I tried the polishing process which I ended up doing and not liking so I painted my rim.
Here is one of them but I got no joke about 30 gallons of paint and mixed them with like colors and i found a diff color i like which i will post a pic of when i paint test sheets. here is the rim i am going to strip it down and paint black.

Id just put some airplane stripper on it. Should do just fine.
Would save you quite a bit of time.

yea thats what i used when i got the wheel
haha no joke the wheel was the only wheel off of the car that was painted and it had like 6 different coats of paint

i think it looks really good, my only concern would be the damage the paint would receive from daily driving.

haha i used some krylon flat black then i found this spray can candy apple stuff sprayed it on and cleared it. I will dig through my garage and get you the names.

hahah i have about 5 coats of this candy apple color and about 5 coats of clear so its pretty thick if it gets any chips it will only be in the clear i can wet sand and rebuff it.
