How would this look?????

So my front bumper has sustained damage, not in the ussual way mind you, I some how managed to back up and the lip caught on a parking curb and ripped the passenger front corner off (yes I was trying to leave a little fast, no I was not drunk). Anyhow I decided that I really like the 97-99 front end, but I have a 95 talon, so since I would have to replace everything in the front anyhow I decided to look at aftermarket bumpers. I really like this one, but I don't know how it would look with stock side skirts and rear bumper and the talon wing. I think it would look good because its not too out there like most of the aftermarket bumpers that are made for our cars are. Anyway below is the pic, of both the front bumper I want, and a talon my color and year.

As with many threads like this, I always strongly suggest urethane, and never fiberglass, if you wish to go aftermarket. If the car is your daily driver, getting urethane or OEM over fiberglass is even more important.

Fiberglass *will* crack. All it will take is a single, remotely careless move, and the results can be very unforgiving (several personal experiences with friends). Urethane is a babe...it'll take the abuse of terrible driving, and then some. You can drive the car without a worry in the world. And installation is a breeze.

Getting back to the topic, that front bumper looks good, since there are not too many around like you mentioned. Check to see if you like the Stillen front, or a 2G OEM with the EBay lip kit.

i think that bumper looks nice but i agree with shpyder, it WILL crack. there are many people that have done the 97-99 conversion before and it looks just as good on a 95-96 as it does on a 97-99. and the only thing you have to change with the bumper is the headlights, which are another visual upgrade IMO. i say screw the aftermarket, go with the 97-99 look.

The bumper looks like an updated version of the 97-99 Eclipse front bumper. Go for it

Just a suggestion. Have you also thought about going for the 97 talon conversion? I did it on my girlfriends ESI and it looks alot better. I like it more than the eclipse bumpers. But that is just my opinion. Either way its going to look good.
