I actually did that to my Talon awhile back when it was in primer. I just never got around to doing it on the new paint. Not the greatest pic.

Yea I like it ill probably do it to mine this winter. Either black or cyber metallic gray. Not sure cause I may either leave the car all white or two tone it white with black on top or what with that cyber metallic gray. Not quite sure yet

I say either color would look good, as long as you keep the black top. To me, it's part of what defines the Talon, and makes it stand out and better than the Eclipse IMO.

oh yea i agree i do like the black top, unfortunatly previous owner painted it all white so my thought is that when i repaint it that i am going to paint the top again like stock plus also paint the hood and hatch. that would be my "two tone" just cant decide on black or cyber metallic gray like i said and bottom would be white. sorry if i am not describing that well enough...

I just picked up a Black 2gb talon bumper for $80, needs painted but isn't cracked and the bolt holes aren't broken. It had a cracked license plate bracket, thats gone, just needs sprayed and its going on.

The Eagle emblem is in perfect shape too!

The kid was off and on for a month or so and was hard up for cash, called me and told me to come get it for $80 There is really no deep gouging either.

I hate having to cut it out a bit for my front mount but its 4" thick so a bit has to go. Time for a straight edge, sharpie, and a grinder then its getting painted.

yeah i know it was bad with the skirts they came with the car they were prob on there for like 2 months at the most before one shattered and i grew up cut me some slack guys it was my first tuner. Anyways what i was trying to show which i dont know if i uploaded the right pic or not was the eagle emblem on the front fascia and how i dremeled it out and put on an actual emblem not some imprint/pressed on mold how they came stock i always thought it looked cheap. I will add that i have 2 fresh 2gb bumpers and 2 sets of the twisties now after i recent jackpot/goldmine of dsm's i hit/found so ill only be rockin the eclipse look till i get time to prep and spray the new goodies that just fell into my lap. ill try to find a better picture of the emblem/medallion of the eagle im reffering to there might be one in my gallery but havent updated that in like 2-3 years

As long as you dont do it to your current car, I'll give you some slack. The car in your avatar looks clean as hell! You should post some more pics of it.

Thanks Reggie, I appreciate the compliment but if it still looked like it did 2yrs ago then I'd look like every other '97 Eclipse on the road and it wouldn't be my own. I wish I could have that stance back but it was just too low and wasn't practical for DD'ing.
