Or do like Doug does and grab a live wire and lean against the car, testing for shock...LOL
HAHA Like a boss.

I don't think the spark matters. If it didn't make any noise spraying starting fluid I would say there is no spark at all. In my opinion no need to look at the plug itself
I agree. If starting fluid didnt make any changes then we are not firing. I would check the connection on power transister or ignition module or what ever that thing is called. And then compression.

no where ever in this post did i ever say ive used starting fluid i have a buddy coming over with a meter at some point im willing to bet its the ecu as well
Could have sworn you said you added fuel manually somewhere.
Still... you need a meter and a manual. Meter is probably 10$ for a cheapie. Might be able to rent one.

Extremely helpful for all. I have a hard copy for everyone of my cars. They are the same manuals any Joe Blow working at a dealer would use to fix our cars. They are so intricate that most instructions start with "Disconnect battery". Since Maine seems to be lacking DSM's therefore DSM mechanics, it is a great thing for you to have....but you still need a meter.

Holy cow... did no one watch the videos? Or am I seeing it wrong?

No CEL when turning the ignition to ON, no boost gauge movement, both indicative of an ECU problem or no power going to it. OP, you say you don't have a meter so all your checks on the fuses are purely visual and do not really count for anything at all. If you can't check the MPI fuse on the (+) Battery Terminal Box, replace it -- it costs practically nothing. If that doesn't get the boost gauge moving and the CEL to come on, replace the GAUGE fuse in the interior Junction Block. Also check that the IOD storage connector is in place. If not, connect it and try again. You can also try jumpering the necessary wires on the fuse box for the IOD unit to see if it is the IOD unit itself that is preventing power reaching the ECU. See: changing wiring harness. question about one connector

If that still does nothing, I wouldn't bother with much else until having the ECU looked at.

For reference: No spark, tested every every thing.
