That engine just sounds..... right. LOL. It sounds like a veryvery well built ride. Cant wait for dyno results.
Good info on the ETS too, its def wortht he money.
Thanks !!! The car sounds crazy in person. honestly it does not sound like a dsm. A few people have mentioned it kind of sounds like a busa on steroids LOL. it definitely has a unique sound.

Dub you walked that jeep down dude:applause: what was your speed on that run?
it was 157mph. Outside Temp was 40* that day and it had a strong head wind. At the end of run you can hear me hit rev limit in 3rd and 4th ( that cost me mph). We really didnt have time to set the car up 100% right or do a full street tune. Found out later rev limit was still set to 9500rpm (old setup limit). The issue with that was i set shift light to 9500 LOL. I had to short shift every gear except the few times I hit rev limit which is now set to 10k. The car wants to rev to 10k and 10.5k should be the rev limit but my lifters weren't shimmed to rev that high. Reichen keeps telling me the way the car pulls it should probably be revving to 11K (and he's serious LOL). But the dyno will tell all.

And for hp reference i just weighed the car. I was hoping it was 2600-2700lbs. but It weighs 2840 without me in it.

Well I didn't get to dyno. Reichen advised me it would probably be better to go to dyno next week. I was a ill disappointed but I had a last minute business meeting to go to anyway. Well the business meeting end up being a surprise birthday party by my girl and who pops up Reichen LOL. He told me he had to find a reason to cancel the dyno and not make me aware of the party and mess up her plans . So numbers coming soon

Dyno today dubb?
Yes sir! Temp in dyno was 97*. 1st pull tach didn't give good signal and numbers were off showing 695whp and 900ft/lbs LOL. The Afr were at 11.1 but someone at one of these meets/car shows i went to turned up my boost to 33psi (it was at 29psi). There was a little knock so mike pulled 1* of timing. 2nd pull 11.7 afr, 12* peak timing @ 33psi car made 693whp 527ft/lbs. But then oil pump took a shit . We're pretty sure the engine noise was from oil pump going bad. Hoping for around 730-750ish at 33psi with a little more tuning. This was dynojet. I'll post graph when I get it.

I'm not sure if this is laggy so I want the forums opinion. This is from the Chicago 1/2 Mile Shootout. I know its shitty but this was my first run ever all out in the new setup when I went 153.6 mph. Switch vid quality to HD view. Here is me in 3rd gear short shifting at 9k then missing 4th with rpms dropping way down to 2300rpm then flooring it 100% to 29psi. Just Watch the digital rpm tach and boost gauge on steering wheel after I go 100% throttle. How is the boost recovery? Is this bad?

spoolin d dub 1g DSM - YouTube

also view the entire run from the beginning to see how the car performs.

Evo 3 1st gear from dead stop 60-70% throttle hitting rev limiter (accidental set to 9500rpm)
2nd 100% throttle hitting rev limiter
3rd 100% throttle short shifting to 9k
then you know the rest LOL.

Only way to tell whether its good or bad is to compare it. focus on the boost gauge and recovery here is a comparison video:thumb: <iframe width="960" height="720" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/AxBB5LfX6aQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I see your intentions but that wasn't what I meant. It's two different situations. First he used a 2 step and He also has clean shifts so his boost was always within in a certain range. With me Hitting the rev limiter in 1 & 2 knocks me out of that threshold even before i shift. Also Missing 4th completely knocked me out of the boost threshold. i want to know how is the recovery in my vid when out of boost threshold? Not when i'm still within the sweet spot banging gears.
