Comp 6465 Turbo spins and spins.

It's cool to hear the turbo rollin when you get out the car. I got a BB turbo and I think it's bad a$$ walkin away from the car and hearin the turbo rollin hard while you walk away.

Yeah it really freaks the heck out of those who really don't now what a turbo is:)

It's not just BB turbos that keep spinning, they might make more noise because of all the extra unnecessary moving parts though.

keep up the good work keltalon. dont worry about the hatters.my comp 6765 oilless will be on the dyno soon also.i am shooting for 42psi pulls i cant wait

I'm curious where your ability to give engineering advice comes from. Curious as to if you're a college student, professional, or avid reader of physics and engineering principles. Either way, you're somewhat on line however there are many other variables you didn't account for, but we'll leave those alone :sneaky:

I have my BS in mechanical engineering.

WOW at some of the bullshit, internet engineers and haters. To the O.P. I say good on ya. If you enjoy it and it makes you happy thats all that matters. Keep doin' your thing. I particularly enjoyed your writeup from last year on the cams. Good luck to you and keep us posted. :hellyeah:

Yea, i've just had the BB turbo on my car for about 2 weeks top but i love being able to grab all my things walk away and when reach over to hit the garage door button on the wall, i can still hear that baby spinning away while i'm closing the door about to go inside :D

My thoughts exactly. I had been following this stimulating topic periodically, but to my dismay the topic moved on a tangent.

For those individuals that feel it is necessary to add unsolicited, argumentative concepts to keltalon's theme, please cease. Your actions indicate that you are ostentatious (a showoff), and that you should consider extending your education level to the Postgraduate and Doctorate status. One of the most important implicit lessons you could learn is simply, "the more knowledge you gain, the more you realize what little you know." This realization is a fundamental aspect learned beyond your Bachelor's Degree, and the added years of maturity complement the lesson. I found it quite humbling, and it illustrates why you do not notice me randomly cluttering topics with Doctorate inspired counsel. I shall make an exception here because the unwelcome arguing disrupts keltalon's intent.

Anyway, I would prefer learning more about keltalon's experiences with his unique turbocharger because I am not an engineer.

Lol
"Water! and OIL! COOOLED ..... turbo..."

Made me laugh a bit.
Nice set up though how was the exhaust manifold to position correctly LOL?

They say that drinking and driving is not good well a southern accent is definitely not good on recording after about 3 bud Ice. Lol! When I work on the car I seem to always end up with a wrench in one hand and a beer in the other IMO that 's really how horsepower is made if you know what I mean :D Can you rephrase your manifold question?

2nd & 3rd gear pull 20psi. The fuel pump filters were getting clogged because tank has to be cleaned so 3rd gear was slightly bogging.

Did you copper spray your old gaskets when you installed them???

No I didn't. the manifold has been warped for a while I just didn't know. It was warped with my old 6265 unit because when I put the new upgraded 6465 unit on the gasket was blown out at the t3 flange area I just ignored it as if it was nothing. All parts are at the machine shop being surfaced. I can't wait to see what this thing is made of:cool:

In the morning Got everything fixed. I pull the BC280s out and installed the 272s WOW what a difference. looking for over 600 this time.;)
Good shit. How much boost you ruunning?

I'll have the 2step setup on the car and itll be tuned a little better today. I'll hit the track again to see what she can pull off.
