They are 75A, I used stainless steel for the center sleeves and they slip in just like the Prothane trans and engine mounts do once you remove the stock bushing.

If you can make them cheaper than the solid aluminum mounts some of us got then you'd be in business.

I cant tell if your joking but to even think a custom, never before made polyurethane bushings would be cheaper then a small piece of round stock aluminum with a hole in it, is the dumbest thing i heard today. That mentality is the reason no one makes good new products for our cars!

I dont care how much thay are, you cant find a full replacement bushing like that anywhere else so Ill pay to get them!

Not all Dsmers are cheep.

Would these be the same as solid mounts. Im in the market for front mount is the rear one worth it or not?

Id say they are a lot better then the crappy inserts Prothane sells these will hold the motor nice and solid. I know of a few people switching from a solid aluminum or welded mount to one on these.

How easy are your bushings to install.

Its pretty much the same difficulty level as the Prothane engine and trans mount on the front the rear is a little more difficult just because you have to press in the supplied aluminum sleeve so the stock mount can accept the bushing. if you have access to a press this wont be a big deal, but otherwise it will be a bit of a PITA

Very true. I mean shit, people spend almost that much on aluminum spark plug well covers that server no purpose other than to be shiny.

I couldn't agree more with that. I can tell you I am going to be interested in getting a set, I just cannot do it right now at this moment.

Just remember the rules everyone. This is just showing what Adam has done. This thread in no way should contain Freelancer, classified, pricing, etc. info.

Sorry Brian.

If anyone has any question, feel free to PM me.

These will likely be available though RRE and maybe a couple other DSM performance shops in the coming couple months.

Thanks!

Got mine in the mail today thay look great and fit the same. The front is all coated and ready to install.

So the 75A pieces are there to take up any slop?

Simply put, yeah. even with the inserts that come with the Prothane kit, there's still a lot of slop, and once you start making some decent power many people have problems with front and rear mounts allowing too much movement. So that's why i made these.

And with shifter bushings and the rest of the shifter up grades the mounts make the shifts feel nice ;)

here are some comparison pics and a pic of it installed, I'm hoping Andy will comment on the install and test drive himself.

Well I still have just the front one in and it feels way better. Shifts are smoother, vibration feels like it decreased if you can beleave it and when you let off the gas at higher rpm there is no motor rock back and forth. I love the front one gunna get me another pair from Adam. I plan to install the back mount as soon as I have time to powder coat it. Well worth it! I have no idea why these inserts wernt made before.

Hey adam could you also make them for the side mounts?

i could but with the lack of interest there is with these ones that have never been made before and aren't available anywhere, i have no desire really to invest a couple hundred dollars to make molds for them since i couldn't make them for less the you can get them from Prothane or ES.

Gotcha but you still making these front and back?

Yeah I'm only planning one making one batch and I'm taking payments from those who want to reserve a set because there's a limited amount available, so if you really want a set you might consider doing that, they will be ready to ship out mid June and the cutoff is the last day of May
