Wanted to ask if anyone Has filled in there motor mounts with the Windo Welds stuff that they sale at your autoparts store?that takes away wheel hop? and strentghens your motor? and gets you a better launch? well tell me how it felt after you filled in your motor mounts? :thumb:

My car is AWD so wheel hop is not really an issue, but after filling all mounts my engine just sits there, no movement even when reved, just stays solid. My launches seem better now, but the vibration is much worse. The combination of solid mounts, no balance shafts and cams means you feel everything in the car when idling and even when driving.

Wheel hop in a AWD is a huge issue. unless you want to replace diffs every other launch. i have heard that the window silicone stuff does work good, my prefrence would be to get a set of prothane motor mounts, i personally have those and they do work well. correct about the vibration, you can feel everything, but worth it. but if you are on a tight budget that window weld would work.
