Is there any way you can fit the insert in? I mean, it's supposed to be a tight fit.

Prothane's fit in this mount fine.

Sorry, that picture was taken while we were installing the Prothane's. The mount is in the car now.

Would it help if I took some measurements of the mount for you? I should be able to get to the mount easily enough.

Yup. Everything in the engine bay still isn't put back together so I should be able to get to the mount easy.

Getting to the rear mount was a little harder than I thought it would be LOL

By my best guess, the diameter of the Prothane insert is 65mm and the diameter of the metal ring inside the rear mount is 75mm. These are crude measurements because of how hard it was to get back there.

These were the best pictures I could get.

I dont really know what to do now.... The stock mount is too big and the new one seems smaller but still insert wont slide in.....
Yeah and by the way , did you use a press for the left and right ones?

I already posted how to fix this before. Take the old mount out, and just use the inserts. To get them to fit properly, you need to cut an intercooler pipe connector in half, and wrap the inserts in it. The coupler acts as a shim, and it pushes the mounts snuggly in place. I have had a car like this for a whole season with no problems.

These pictures were sent to me by tenn-gsx. He asked me to post them up for him since he is not yet a proven member.
