After 2 years of work I am one week away from starting my car again. I just finished the motor Saturday and thought I would share my progress.

Wow. What times are you shooting for?

Also, what did you paint your valve cover with?

Looks pretty tame. Is that a stock turbo?

:D I'm excited for you. Mine's just on it's way OUT of the car.

Wow, very nice. Im looking at a similar build time to what you had for my TSi. It sucks now, but Im sure I will be happy when its finished. Thats a monster of a turbo, what kind? 14B?;)

My goal is to go 8's on boost while still remaining as streetable as possible. The turbo is a Gt42. The header I hand built myself. Thanks for the compliments!

how is it going to be streetable without a water pump????

Hmmmm, 8's and streetable, defently two words you don't hear in the same sentence that often :D That is going to be one hell of a daily driver, looks great :thumb:

nice work on the header.

I am assuming that you filled the block? Planning on running anything other than gasoline in that pig? What did you do for internals / headwork?

It looks like wringle black to me, kind of like the ones on hondas.
It looks MORE like the wrinkle paint found on Harley's. Good work.:thumb:
