My new triple fuel rail setup

My ultimate goal is 200mph in a standing mile. He has only done 173 in the mile. I'd like to think weight will make a diference in texas or at maxton. But my car will likely see the salt first, so yea, weight will not be a factor. Thanks for the education though.

That fuel system is pretty wild. Really shows off your problem solving and excellent fab abilities.

I haven't read all of your update thread you linked but maybe I'll get a chance later today, my wife is getting pissy cause I'm ignoring her right now, so this will be typed quickly.

If I understand this right, you're running 1150 primaries and 6x450 (2700?) on a batch fire with SD tuning? How much IDC will the 1150s see before the batch fire comes online, or how do you integrate?

Any aero work done or planned for 200mph with a Colt?

Awesome project!

I can't take credit for the aluminum machine work. Just the design.

The ultimate goal is to run 8 1600's and the 4 1150's or 10 1600's. The 450's are just to learn the staged injection. This is not like AEM or another system. I will basically turn on the six secondaries at a given RPM at a given throttle position. There it a load factor is will come on as well(more or less boost level). So basically anything above those three and the staged system will activate.

Body work is the last thing on the table. Safety equipment is next on my list. That is far more inportant right now. But in due time I will tackle that.

cool work man, thanks again for the aluminum mounts!

Thank you, I hope they are working well for you.

99% ready for the roll cage. Just need to finish a small bit of wiring. Thanks for all the help Jason, John and Steve P.

The weight back there is neccessary.

Largest tank- coolant
Medium silver box- battery box
Black tank- fuel
Small silver tank- coolant overflow

This car is not a drag race car. So having weight over the front tires is irrelevant. And the car will be streamlined before 2010 is up, so where the weight is is not a big deal. And on the salt flats, it could weigh 10,000lbs. It doesn't matter out there, you still hit the same numbers.

But if you must know, the car weighs 1980lbs full weight right now. And I weigh 140lbs. So current race weight is 2220lbs with driver. The goal is to get the car under 2500lbs with all safety equipment. I would like to think it can happen. The cage is sitting next to the car right now. Starting next week, we are going to begin work on the cage.
