Wow, I just read through this entire thread. Amazing. Now I want try something like this hahaha, too bad I'm not that good at custom fab work yet

I just read through this whole thread for old time's sake. Too bad all the nay sayers scattered, some compound turbo talk would help pass the time until spring... :sosad:

Ha, it's worked well so far. Just wont spool on the converter.

After reading all 19 pages so far, I'm just wanting to clear up some things. The compound setup is an MHI big 16g with a Turbonetic's 60-1 s cover correct? Next, what fuel are you running and injectors, etc. I wasn't sure if your profile was up to date or not. Also, have you set a new (3rd) dyno date / time yet? And one final one, how'd you make out with that bathroom? LOL

Yup, an MHI B16g and a Turbonetics 60-1. My profile is completely up to date.

I haven't scheduled another trip to the dyno. I feel bad having to cancel the last two, so this time around, I'm not going to make an appointment until the car is 100% ready to rock and loaded on the trailer. April or May will probably be when that happens. I also wouldn't mind dynoing my car at Buschur's at this year's SO too. I just need raise my car up a bit to get on his rollers, and I also need to make sure we have a spare car trailer in case I break.

Ahh, the bathroom. LOL It hasn't been touched yet. It got buried behind life's priorities. But, I'll have time to start that project after the next batch of crossmembers is done.

Still waiting for a pic on a 1g with IC plumbing and such. :checks watch: :taps foot:

Thanks! This and a JayRacing piece will allow me to do side-exit...but I'm unsure if I want to go that route. Just trying to visualize with the stuff in place.

Well, I just spent the last 2 hours at work reading this thread.

Great build, great fabbing.

Can't wait to see some track times!

btw - to the user who posted up the video of himself running at NED; I saw that run in person. It was epic.

Paul's valve cover and bov tops, the shaving and welding was done by Paul.
Came out very nice :thumb:

I do have the car back together. I just need to tie up a small handful of loose ends before it's truely roadworthy. Parts should be in tomorrow, so I'll hopefully be fine tuning it on SD very soon. If all goes well, I'll try to hit up the dyno toward the end of this month.

you know.. i gotta give it to you.. you beat me to it. i had this idea when i was a kid, but it was a little different. though it makes more seance to me now that the air from the 16g is going strait to the 60-1 then to the engine. my idea was to run both turbos individually to a collector then to the block.. but i don't think that would do the job quite right, with boosting and all. you are freaking awesome dood. cant wait for the numbers

O...M..G I just seen the video on you tube.. i almost came.. that sounds like a v8 dood. is the exhaust not hooked up? man that thing is SOOOOO FREKIN SICK!!!!
