Its finally time to build the 6-bolt thats been laying around. The eventual goal is 600+awhp or mid 130mph traps. Here's a run-down of what I have in mind, just wanted some opinions. Im trying to keep it as simple as possible, but over-building a bit for the safety and peace of mind. K, so here we go.

[x] = purchased
[ ] = awaiting purchase, undecided

[x]stock 6-bolt crank
[x]Wiseco 1400HD's .20 over, 8.5:1
[x]Manley I-beam rods w/ ARP hardware
[ ]ARP L19 headstuds
[ ]ARP Mains
[ ]ACL or King rod and main bearings (either or?)
[ ]OEM oil and water pump
[ ]OEM timing components
[ ]BSEK
[ ]Fel-pro gasket set (?...not sure)
[ ]Undecided on headgasket, opinions? Mitsu MLS? Organic?
[x]Kiggly Main Girdle

Anything Im missing over overlooking let me know. Thanks for the help!

And some teaser pics...

what do you have in mind for tranny and turbo set up?? just motor alone wont give you 600awdhp need bolt ons unless you have it and your just doing the motor and is your last step.

Oil squirters keeping or tossing? If you keep them, I recommend getting a fresh set installed in the block. No point in having them there if they are clogged up and not working.

what about head work and set up?
what block work? torque plate bore hone?
you intend to Blance the rotating assembly?
MLS HG I would think, as long as the head and block have the proper surface finish.

The only head work that will be done is a set of springs and retainers, I already have cams. About the machine work to the block, yes I will be going through all those processes, and thanks for the links. Im more focused on the parts of the block in itself for now...
